Does anybody know what this is? / Where can I find these?

Some help please?

http://www.cdjapan.co.jp/detailview.html?KEY=NEOBK-884252

I don't know if I should buy it or not because I truly don't know what it is. It doesn't sound as a photobook (of which addicted to) but any help would be appreciate it. My Japanese isn't that good and neither is my dictionary :S

http://www.cdjapan.co.jp/detailview.html?KEY=NEOBK-884757

because this one looks like a magazine with a long and special article featuring Arashi, but the other... dunno.

I'm also taking the opportunity to ask here because I'm desperately looking for these things to watch:

News Zero 02 Jun. 2008 (days after Sho injured himself in concert rehearsals)

Music Lovers 22 Aug 2010 (complete)

Music Station 13 Aug 2010 (complete) SMAP, Tokio and Arashi performed.

ETA: Thank you very much for your help!!! I ♥ my flist!!

Help with reliable online shops for Japanese and Korean stuff

I usually buy at Yesasia and CDJapan... I know sooner or later I'll buy at Amazon.co.jp, and I've bought at Senasian once... and of course always handy Ebay... but,

... I'm in desperate NEED of knowing more good places to buy Asian stuff. That means jpop and kpop music, dramas, collectibles (I'm especially fond of photobooks), so please if you know some place, share it with me because I need to have more back up places since in my opinion YA is getting a bit too expensive for me!

More Foyle's War soon!

The other day I read a post at [livejournal.com profile] foyleswar where I discovered there were a couple of books about Foyle's War. One published by Hastings Borough Council and another one written by Rob Green titled The Real History of "Foyle's War": The Truth Behind the Fiction and it's a companion to the series.

I thought it was great there was a book about the series but checking my usual online shop I also discovered that there is an original soundtrack available, so I couldn't help it and I bought the book and the ost... can't wait for them to reach me!!

But after learning about the book and cd I checked about new episodes and voilà there are new episodes and series 5 it's supposed to air sometime in October. *squee* Can't wait!

The bad thing is that there are only two episodes as in series 4 :( titled: Bleak Midwinter and Casualties of War.

The good thing is that Bleak Midwinter has a lot of Milner's (Anthony Howell) stuff and that, for me, it's like music to my ears!!! since I think they didn't offer as much as they should about him and his storyline... just a little about the plot here but it's very spoilerish )

Another good thing is that it seems that there will also be a series 6 with two new episodes. Anyway, some links about it:

supercute adquisition ;)

Isn't it cute?

Just went today to check out some shops and have dinner at our favorite place, The Wok, and I couldn't help but taking it home with me: Barbapapa *squee*

I didn't know ZARA HOME had kids section (there's where I got it). It's super smooth and you can squeeze it. It also has magnets in the hands to hang him in metalic surfaces... I sound like a five years old, sorry ;) Can't really help it! When I was a kid I had all the tiny figures in hard plastic and they were supercute! When I saw this and the pink one in the shop I had to take home one of them!

Queer as Folk, books, fics, shoes, and some other things ;)

Things going on lately...

* Last Friday I watched my first two episodes of Queer as Folk, US version, and I think I'm hooked... Gale Harold is so hot as Brian Kinney... *sigh* I found, among others this great site, Gale Online, with lots of info and pics!!

* These last days (since Sunday, actually) I haven't been around LJ as much as I usually am because I've been abducted by a book I'm reading... First of all I have to say that I haven't been reading a lot this year (apart from books about Japanese and Chinese, and fics :S) but during summer I usually read more... I'm reading some books at the same time but the one I got on Sunday, is just an easy read that asks to be finished as soon as possible... It's a romantic novel by Sue-Ellen Welfonder... Bride of the Beast, that actually is a second part of a series (yes, I'm weird that way, I don't mind) of stories about a Scottish clan... Anyway, apart from the cliches typical in the romantic novels, I'm enjoying it quite a bit... I can be so silly... *hi hi* more about the book and romantic novels in general )

*Last Monday, Fuji TV aired Takuya Kimura's Hero SP!! I can't wait to watch it... but I haven't so far so I don't know how it was, but I'm sure it was great since Hero was such a great dorama.

*Summer sales started here and I got totally crazy and bought some clothes and shoes (I'm really am considering to make a post about shoes-shopping addiction ;)) My favorite adquisitions )

*Today, yesterday, I read this great adult fic, Yellow Plastic by [livejournal.com profile] minisinoo featuring Cedric and Hermione as adults. She writes them so nicely, so real... that I enjoyed it a lot!

*Okay, a bit of World Cup thoughts... Today Italy made it to the final. I told mr. ginger a week ago or more than it would be cool to have an European final and we'll get one. I haven't watched the match, Germany-Italy, just bits... but a friend told me that Italy played better than Germany. Originally I wanted a Germany-Portugal in the final... but let's see if I get an Italy-Portugal instead... It would be cool anyway ;)

*Talking about Portugal. Last week I was watching tv late at night when I caught this program about Spanish culture issues, called (translated) Culture with Ñ. I was nicely surprised to see that the guest in that program was Joaquim de Almeida, my favorite Portuguese actor! But what really astonished me was the fact that he admitted he talked 6 languages and acted and worked with 5 of them... So guessing and checking movies, I think he meant he has filmed or worked in movies using English, French, Italian, Spanish, and, of course, Portuguese, since he admitted that the one he didn't master was German, although he studied in a German school as a child. Simply amazing! Now I'm admire him more than before!

in case you wonder, he looked like this in the interview )

*And... sadly, the last thing: this news about North Korea, worries me :/

The post I should have posted yesterday ;)

I've been in a weird mood, probably can be called apathetic since yesterday morning, but I wanted to post things that happened yesterday and today, so, here it comes )

IKEA is kind of 'perdition land' and other tales

I had planned to spend the day studying Chinese and maybe if I was inspired, to make some icons, but instead we (mr. ginger and I) went to Ikea where we've bought too many glasses (all sizes and colors I think), plus things for the kitchen and the house in general... When, what we really thought buying was some chairs and a small table. That means we have to come back kind of in the following months.

Later, we had lunch at THE WOK (I tried to find their website but doesn't work) and later on we tried to go shopping a bit... but the only things we bought (well I bought) were a Hello Kitty pyjamas and a t-shirt for me! (in this shop called Oysho, here's the website although I haven't found what I bought there). I wanted to post a picture of them because they are quite cute, but my camera is acting weird lately. That reminds me that I've seen the digital camera I want!! in FNAC. It's this one. mr. ginger likes it so maybe we may buy one of these days ;)

So today, no icons, no Chinese... I'll try tomorrow, although my icon muse is avoiding me ;) maybe it's the stress about the exams :S

Almost forgot: [livejournal.com profile] syliasyliasylia has posted some great pics of Madrid in her latest post here.

And... Happy Birthday to Chow Yun-Fat! I wish we'll get a new movie from him soon! We kind of miss him...
