After a lot of fighting with the BD I really think I was very happy in the land of DVDs...

I got a BD/DVD player for my laptop (external one) it's a samsung player and I have been playing DVDs with it with no problem. I tried to watch my first BD and I've been struggling all morning!

I can't play it using VLC because some library missing and I had to install the Power DVD 10 that came with the Bluray player but when trying to play a BD it says I need to update to version 12 and I can't seem to be able to do that...

I need some advice and help from those of you who already have a bluray player and are way more experienced than I am. I wanted to play blurays with VLC and I hate PowerDVD from when I used it long ago...

Any idea/feedback... :(

I think I said that I am pretty obsessed with Sho's Blackboard SP drama episode... I am trying to get my hands in the magazines that feature it but I am having a hard time finding out which magazines are since sometimes in weibo/tumblr they don't say the magazine it comes from.

So, those living in Japan or with access to Japanese magazine may be able to help me, pretty please!!!

I need to know about these two:

Where can I go when I want to ask something I don't know or want to know more about Arashi (and its members) related?. In most cases it's about things I have read or hear about them (most of them are things from their past (11 years is a lot of time!) or things I wonder because somebody mentioned it...

I know I have some people in my flist quite versed in Arashi past (because they're been fans for a long while now) but I don't know if I can ask directly or not...

So I wonder... is there an Arashi community for new fans? or one that doesn't have a lot of restricting rules about posting? or can I post my questions here and some very nice people will answer them for me!

I must confess that I could be talking about them non-stop and that may get people tired, so that's why I thought about asking too... (and another little reason is also because I don't want to ask stupid things everybody else know and see how they point at me laughing...)

I'm so far from Japan that I don't get all the info that I would like to and that I enjoy. I am not one for gossip but there are may be some or other news that I may want to know or comment... *frustrated* I wish my Japanese was better!

Why oh why there isn't a Dream A Life concert dvd? Is there a petition online of some sort for that? because I'll go right away to sign it!!!

I thought that the Once Again clip I've watched was just a song that wasn't included and silly me thought that the Around Asia 2008 dvd was for the only tour they had that year... wrong! Those clothes they're wearing, the dance... I ♥ it all!!! damn! (and poor Sho and his injured hand *hugs him*)

It kills me, really, because ONE and Dream A Life concerts should really be released in dvd!!!! Please!!! I just don't understand why they aren't out there available!!! Argghhh! *headdesk*

And that takes me to the fact that Mada ue Wo isn't included (for what I've read) in the Scene tour concert dvd... more arghhh!!!

Poor Aiba didn't want to dress as a soldier and Nino looks so very cute as a Chinese girl. Jun is the lucky one because he always gets the kakkoii costumes and he's the ooji-sama (although I think he says something of the lines that what he's wairing isn't kakkoii at all... Ohno dresses as a schoolgirl, and Sho as a primary-shooler, so cute!

I was probably one of the few people left around here who hadn't watched Tatta Hitotsu no Koi *hides*. It has been solved! I've been watching it and I really love it!

It's hard to explain this properly but as it happened to me before with some other actors, I wasn't very fond of Kamenashi, but I've changed my mind after watching the beginning of 1 Pound no Fukuin, and as I read that the actress playing the lead with him in Tatta... was Ayase Haruka, I had to watch it since I love her in Hotaru no Hikari.

But that's not the point. I really love Tatta Hitotsu no Koi, probably for the same reasons I love Hana Yori Dango (which I've been re-re-watching too): the love story, the main couple (I have to like them both and see chemistry between them) and the plot. HYD is still my fav and probably will be among my favs forever (with You're beautiful, Buzzer Beat, Pride...)

ETA: FOUND IT!!! It was a kmovie not a kdrama and I finally remembered which one was last night when I went to bed: A MOMENT TO REMEMBER!!!! (oh the irony!) The heroine tailors a suit for Jung Woo Sung's character so he goes nicely dressed when he's going to pass an architecture exam!!!


This is really silly but I've been having this question in my head for the last two hours...

I should know because it's a drama I've recently watched/started watching/spoiled myself about it, etc... but I can't!!!
