First of all... after reading thynk2much's last post, I got one of those moments where I could scream of desperation because I don't live in London :S

It seems the BAFTAS has an special about Bollywood title 'BAFTA goes Bollywood'. Here you have the program, in case you want to check it out...

The main attraction to me is the fact that they'll interview Aamir Khan, who'll be there!!, but apart from that, they'll also talk with Preity Zinta they'll show Dil Chahta Hai, Veer-Zaara and Rang De Basanti in a theatre, in big screen!!!(among others)... and also, something that will make dangermousie happy: they'll also interview Shah Rukh Khan.

*sigh*

And now a bit of World Cup now that the final is close... and that is that I'm sorry for Portugal. I can't really explain why but I really wanted Portugal to win. I wanted them to reach the final... Maybe it has to be with the fact that between Zidane and Figo, I choose Figo... can't really explain (besides he reminds me a bit of Jeremy Northam, now that I give it a bit of thought) Anyway, poor them!

This scene brought tears to my eyes... they are friends, the were together in Real Madrid... that moment has been so touching... they gave each other their shirts (all sweat, that is another issue) and hugged twice!

A while ago I finished watching Dil Hai Ki Manta Nahin, another pretty old Aamir Khan movie. This one is from 1991. It's a romantic comedy (more comedy in some points, more romance in some other)...

I was going to post about Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak earlier but didn't have the time or/and inspiration ;) Apart from the eighties look and all that I enjoyed the movie very much, even the tragedy that I know it was going to unleash at the end... *snif*

First of all, I don't know why my yesterday post didn't show up in some of my friends' pages... it may be one of those LJ things I don't understand :(

As I'm in such a Fanaa mood since yesterday (*grin* well, actually it comes from before, but it's more serious since yesterday) here are some things for people to enjoy...

Okay, a quick post about some things related to different fandoms...

* I was pretty happy after the spoilers I read the other day about Spooks series 5. Now I am not so happy :( , probably the opposite, and it isn't even Rupert Penry-Jones related, but in my head it is related to Adam Carter, although in fact is about another character. I sound cryptic, but I don't want to ruin more things about the next series to anybody :S. I read the awful news in spooky_doings, in this post. I'll just say that I had ideas for fics involving Adam and this character... argg.

* I have several Bollywood movies to watch but my incredible desire to do so fights with my need to study (more than a lot!) since my Chinese exam is next Thursday and the Japanese one is the next Wednesday... Both are quite important, but honestly I have more possibilities to pass the Japanese one... I know I've mentioned them before, but the thing is that although I struggle to be far from LJ I just can't :S

* Just in case somebody else is curious, these are the Aamir Khan's movies I have here waiting to be seen:
- Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak (I've seen already half of it and probably will watch the rest in the following days because even with the 80's look it's really cute!)
- Raja Hindustani (that I did star watching once months ago but I felt asleep watching... My fault it was pretty late at night. I remember I liked the premise)
- Lagaan (I'm very curious about it but as I don't know why, I relate it in some way to Mangal Pandey, I prefer to be in the mood to watch this one)

And in the last days I've have also bought:
-Andaz Apna Andaz (the cover of the dvd reminded me of some awful Spanish comedies from the seventies, but it was cheap)
-Ghulam (I read the synopsys and I really want to watch this)
-Dil (the same as above)
-Rangeela (the same as above, but I've read so many great things about this one that now I really want to watch it)

* It seems Michael Jackson is going to be in June 5th SMAPXSMAP. I am not curious about that fact because I find him quite creepy (sorry to those who like him. I like some songs but his looks are just... uncomfortable for me). I want to watch that one because I want to see the guys' reaction since they are so impressionable about some International stars... I got the info from smapxsmap. Btw, I've made my brand new 'evil takuya' icon from a image I also got from the community but I don't remember from who. sorry. If somebody knows tell me and I'll credit her.

* Those waiting for new Cedric/Hermione manips or some other artwork related to them... Please bear with me, I'll work in them soon... in a couple of weeks I'll be free to play with Photoshop for entire days!

I really should have waited to make these but I couldn't help it and half of them I made them already some days go.

Yesterday (I couldn't post earlier) I watched Rang de Basanti, another Aamir Khan movie.

First of all, I have to say, although I think I've said it before that first time I saw a movie with Aamir was Mangal Pandey and after that moment I bought some movies, but I hadn't started watching them til now ... I like to enjoy my movies when I'm at the top of my mood for a particular actor, you know... ;)

Don't know if somebody will reach the end of the post since it's pretty pretty long, sorry, couldn't help it.
