I've been in a weird mood, probably can be called apathetic since yesterday morning, but I wanted to post things that happened yesterday and today, so, here it comes )

First of all, yesterday, that I didn't post, was Gary Oldman's Birthday! How cool is that David Thewlis and Gary Oldman have birthdays one just one day after the other!! Yay! [livejournal.com profile] imbeiaiel has posted this lovely pic of them together but just the other day I found another one that I probably like even more: This one! I have an urge to make Gary Oldman icons right now!

And this is especially for [livejournal.com profile] whitelilacs07 who asked for Tom Hollander in Gosford Park caps. Here they are. Enjoy them! (if anybody else wants them, you can also get them but they are only Tom Hollander images!) (btw, I just made the Richard E. Grant icon to use in this post! I love his character in the movie. In fact there are a lot of characters I like from that movie: Stephen Fry's, Jeremy Northam's, Clive Owen's, Alan Bates'...)

Yesterday, I watched Wallace and Gromit in the Curse of the Were-Rabbit and I simply love it!! Just the previous nights I had also watched all the short films (I had only watched one before that a channel aired here, The Close Shave one). I love them all too!!! I may make icons soon... but I just wanted to say how much I love Gromit!! and from the movie I'm pretty fond of Hutch ;) and also the penguin thief from The Wrong Trousers... Now I have some Creature Comforts to watch!

Btw, a tv station here will air Criminal Minds!!! I was so happy when I saw the promo!!!

Last night I felt asleep watching tv... ahem, I do that some days... when I woke up a movie had just started and as it looked nice, I mean, it had ingredients I like: costume drama, adventure, romance, handsome men in uniforms, British actors... So I watched the rest.

Its title: St. Ives. Keep reading ;) )

I had wanted to watch this for a long time... Finally today I did (I tried to watch it one night not long ago but I felt asleep, not because the movie was boring, that it isn't at all!, but because it was around 4 am!)

The reasons for me to watch it were mainly two: first, it was a Sherlock Holmes movie; second, the cast: Richard Roxburgh as Holmes and Ian Hart as Watson were just promissing... and if to them we add Richard E. Grant... It was all I needed.

Before going further about the movie I have to say that I quite liked it and that I've had fun watching it, that is the same to say that I recommend it ;)
