I was trying to find a witty comment about the movie to use it as subject line using 'vanished' that is a word that here it may allow some words play... but I guess I'm tired and nothing good enough came. Anyway, it's a good thing that I'm leaving Bad Guy until there are more subs available so I can more or less marathon it and enjoy Kim Nam Gil in his magnificent state there... Because Lovers Vanished wasn't what I was expecting.

Oh, how much I wanted to like this movie! How much I wanted it to be at the level of Portrait of Beauty... but it couldn't be.

total spoilers and some caps of hottie Kim Nam Gil because he really is hot in the movie, that I have to admit it )

I am pretty sleepy right now so may be a possibility that something doesn't make sense. Sorry.

OMG! I think I lost the ability of using words coherently.

Just watched Gale as Wyatt Earp in Deadwood. He's magnificent, divine... Can I have a dusty, scruffy, mustached Gale all for myself... Love the dusty coat, the dirty face and the longish hair... the gun at his hip, boots... ahhhh

pic spam this way. Should be seated while watching )

all caps I've made from the episode, here (44mbs because they're .bmps)

I promised [livejournal.com profile] whitelilacs07 Tom Hollander caps from this movie and HERE they are. (I capped Tom and Rufus for your pleasure lady!)

First of all I have to say that I watched this movie (a.k.a. 'The very thought of you' in the US, don't know why) at the theatre when it was released here (the movie is from 1999) and I enjoyed it. I have watched it again and I still enjoy it but it isn't the best romantic comedy in the world. The best thing about the movie are, honestly, Rufus Sewell and Tom Hollander... Because although I like Joseph Fiennes, he does more or less what he usually does: be the romantic and in love young man with that puppy dog face that makes you want to hug him tight, and, Monica Potter, does what she has also done in other romantic comedies like 'I'm with Lucy' or 'Head over Heels'.

After saying that, I only have to add that Tom is absolutely hot in this movie. I didn't recall him looking that good when I saw it for the first time. I'm usually against hair dying but here the blond hair fits him just fine (more than fine) I dare say.

Anyway, he looks like this:

First of all, yesterday, that I didn't post, was Gary Oldman's Birthday! How cool is that David Thewlis and Gary Oldman have birthdays one just one day after the other!! Yay! [livejournal.com profile] imbeiaiel has posted this lovely pic of them together but just the other day I found another one that I probably like even more: This one! I have an urge to make Gary Oldman icons right now!

And this is especially for [livejournal.com profile] whitelilacs07 who asked for Tom Hollander in Gosford Park caps. Here they are. Enjoy them! (if anybody else wants them, you can also get them but they are only Tom Hollander images!) (btw, I just made the Richard E. Grant icon to use in this post! I love his character in the movie. In fact there are a lot of characters I like from that movie: Stephen Fry's, Jeremy Northam's, Clive Owen's, Alan Bates'...)

Yesterday, I watched Wallace and Gromit in the Curse of the Were-Rabbit and I simply love it!! Just the previous nights I had also watched all the short films (I had only watched one before that a channel aired here, The Close Shave one). I love them all too!!! I may make icons soon... but I just wanted to say how much I love Gromit!! and from the movie I'm pretty fond of Hutch ;) and also the penguin thief from The Wrong Trousers... Now I have some Creature Comforts to watch!

Btw, a tv station here will air Criminal Minds!!! I was so happy when I saw the promo!!!

This is mainly for [livejournal.com profile] whitelilacs07 who wanted Cambridge Spies caps.
I made them long time ago.
I have to say three things about them: they aren't top quality; the aren't caps from the whole miniseries, just most if it; and, they are especially focused in Rupert Penry-Jones and Toby Stephens (can't help it!;))
Hope they are useful!
It will be nice (if you use them) to say where you got them ;)
