Maybe some of you don't know but I'm moving to another country so I have to get rid of some stuff and I also need the money quite desperately.

Some of these things, I never thought I was going to get rid of them. They were part of my personal collection for years, so they are in excellent condition (I'm one of those 'don't remove from its original package' kind of freak (so I keep the plastics/protections most of the times).

please, take a look )

I was trying to find a witty comment about the movie to use it as subject line using 'vanished' that is a word that here it may allow some words play... but I guess I'm tired and nothing good enough came. Anyway, it's a good thing that I'm leaving Bad Guy until there are more subs available so I can more or less marathon it and enjoy Kim Nam Gil in his magnificent state there... Because Lovers Vanished wasn't what I was expecting.

Oh, how much I wanted to like this movie! How much I wanted it to be at the level of Portrait of Beauty... but it couldn't be.

total spoilers and some caps of hottie Kim Nam Gil because he really is hot in the movie, that I have to admit it )

I am pretty sleepy right now so may be a possibility that something doesn't make sense. Sorry.

I looooove this movie! I'm easy that way... It doesn't have an intrincate plot, it doesn't have the best actors in the world... BUT, and it's a great but for me, I had a lot of fun watching this romantic comedy. The lead couple have chemistry... and another important thing is that the main lead actor is...

Photobucket
Daniel Henney.

I'm in love!

I knew him as a model but hadn't watched any movie with him. What took me so long!!!

I've watched it three times in the last two days, so... yeah, I liked it: huge pic spam ahead )

The female lead is Uhm Jung-hwa -who is quite lucky because she always gets to star next to the hottest Korean men (she stars with Oh Ji Ho in Get Karl! as well). I don't know why but she fits quite well in this kind of part.

The OST is fantastic. The main theme is sung by Daniel (I also love his voice) with another singer. You can find it here (found via chipskjaa's blog at wordpress).

I really really recommend this movie if you like romantic comedies with misunderstandings and happy ending.

yes they do! (read at your on risk because I talk about the plot of a movie so you may find spoilers)

I've just finished watching A Moment to Remember (which I truly recommend) and as I say in the subject line of this post... I've cried like a baby... not all the time because the movie is horribly cute til past half of it but in the last 40-35 minutes... omg! The lovely couple crying themselves... and I reached the point of sobbing...

How nicely they do it, don't they... When I reached the point when things were starting to get 'dangerously cry-able' ;) I tried to be reasonable and to start thinking things like 'what a plot it's impossible she gets so sick in about a minute?! that's one of those Korean plot turns to get you all watery... but minutes later I didn't care anymore.

At the end I didn't feel depressed, just the opposite. Maybe it was cathartic... I simply love Jung Woo Sung a bit more because in this movie he's cute and sweet but also a tough guy with a a façade and a heart that doesn't want to get broken again (and it does, of course)... How lovely they are together, such cute moments... I simply love everything about the movie... even if it made me cry (I'm easy like that).

PS I need a good Jung Woo Sung icon... I think. (Watching Phantom The Submarine at the moment. I own the movie for years and haven't watched it properly til now).

In fact I watched this movie a couple of weeks ago but never got the chance of reviewing it or post a pic spam...

A couple of things attract me to give it a go: Jang Hyuk and THIS movie poster. I find it very beautiful.

Jang Hyuk looks very 'beautiful' too during the whole movie:

... and speaks English most of the time!

as usual: about the movie and pics this way )

The other night, staying awake way after my bedtime :S I watched this Korean romantic comedy... because although I haven't said a thing here (yet, I'm going to right now) I have a crush on Lee Dong-Gun (or Geon), and it happened in the most stupid way, believe me. )

I have always found curious, since one of my Japanese teachers explained to me after I commented to her something funny I saw in a SMAPxSMAP, the thing about blog types in Japan (and some other Asian countries). She explained to me that blood types there are something that have influence in people's life and that some people believe in them like others in horoscopes (if I'm wrong, sorry, it's what I got from our conversation). They are also considered as something to have in mind when you're looking for your ideal other half because blood types in some way determined personality, that's why even agencies that arrange marriages or dating services have them as elements to have in mind while doing their job. For what I've read, from Japan arrived to other Asian countries, South Korea included. more )
