because again, I saw it raw and I must confess that I got a bit less out of the conversations... but OMG! is this drama chilling or what?

Disjointed thoughts below (sorry about that)... some spoilers maybe but not really that much...

Yoshimoto is such a sinister character... You can even say he is evil, but you can't be sure because when he is all smiles or when he explains things as they are the most usual thing to say, you are prone to believe him... Those comparing Yoshimoto and Naruse may be right...

Anyway, I must confess that what it's taking me the hardest is watching how the younger kid suffers because of Yoshimoto's plottings... That passive-aggressiveness is plain cruel... which makes me even more worried about the little kid... Because we don't know why Yoshimoto keeps applying a policy of carrot and stick (found this saying trying to find the English version to one we got in Spain and that goes perfectly in this case) with him all the time. It is hard to admit that the birthday party thing has some ulterior teaching apart from making him realize that he can't trust his classmates once again and that he is alone! And if there was no teaching behind and just plain use of such a date to get his parents to confront each other... As I say: cruel!

The worst part of that is that at the end he is all 'I'm your buddy' but the roughness in Yoshimoto's treatment of the kid is just scary (kudos to Sho for his great job again!) Doesn't also look like he wants to get the kid on his side, whatever that means? *confused*

And, of course, at this point we don't know what Yoshimoto's whole plan is... we don't know if there is one to begin with... We don't know if he is just some crazy guy with a pathological need to destroy families (while he offers himself to save them) because that is what happened to him or something. Because we do know or can guess that he had some awful events in his past but still too mysterious... It's good, though... the pacing of this drama is really really good!!

I can't leave out of this post his dealings with Shinichi... It's a bit of a mastermind games, isn't it? Shinichi cleverness against Yoshimoto's savvy-ness... I wonder what big trap Yoshimoto has in mind for the older kid... Again, scary! I got the impression that the lady saying she was the Yoshimoto brothers' mom is not that and was hired by Yoshimoto... Is that even his real name? I wonder...

The beginning of the episode is so creepy! Sho singing that song and driving (at night!) the kid somewhere... I wouldn't have got in that car, seriously!

And the video for the birthday kid with the pieces of phone conversation included... Okay it made the mother to just leave out all she had inside but afterwards... Don't they wonder about the video itself? Wouldn't they assumed it was their oldest son's doings? Don't they wonder who is responsible of that? I know it's a drama, but I keep thinking about it (I know it a Japanese drama not a US/UK show... :P my bad)

And the very last part? the webside Shinichi finds? I wonder if it's a real thing, which is again, really scary, or if it's part of Yoshimoto's plan to ruin/teach the kid...

If it's the first option... the 'watashi no kazoku wa Yoshimoto Koya ni korosareta' (my family was killed by Yoshimoto...' doesn't give you a shiver down your spine? :S

Maybe I am the only one because I tend to make weird connections but doesn't Yoshimoto look to you like a quite derailed Mary Poppins? :S

PS I am disappointed with the ratings... I am trying to stop myself being bothered by the fact... >.

With plenty of SPOILERS (read at your own risk)....

I must confess that I didn't put so much attention to episode 1 so I may have missed some tiny info here and there (to the added fact that I watched it raw). I've watched episode 2, also raw, but I think I got the main things happening there...

Mess of a post, I am warning you!!

First thing I have to say is that as a mom it wasn't a nice watch. My son goes to primary school and the simple idea of something even remotely similar of what Shigeyuki had to face at school during the episode could happen to my child, just froze my blood... I know what some people may think/say: Japan is different. Okay, it may be different about how they (school/parents) deal with it -due to that tendency they have of 'if we don't talk about it, it didn't happen/doesn't exist' that really gets on my nerves-, but let me tell you it happens everywhere.

What really got me mad is the passiveness of that family, really! I want to hit them all, starting with the dad... What a dysfunctional group of people! I know, there wouldn't be a drama without them but the dynamics within that family just makes me want to cry out in desperation... and if to that we add the creepiness that is Sho's character... well we got the perfect combination to make me keep watching just to know if something gets fixed and how.

It pained me to see how the kid got bullied and nobody really cared about it. It hurt to see the lack of communication within the family, how they act like they are guests at a hotel where the mom cooks for everybody and everybody leaves to keep on with their lives. I really felt sorry for the mom when she tried to make the dad talk to his youngest son and he decides to go to work and she is left to be the one doing the task and she also avoids doing (!!)

I am not saying only the adults are to blame, the kid himself keeps it all to inside so they can't help him. Yoshimoto is the one helping him in that unorthodox way of him (allowing the kid being hit and all more than I wanted to watch). I know Yoshimoto's intention is to make each of them realize that they have to do something (he manages when the kids are with the stunt gun!!! and for once the older brother reacts and goes to his brother -finally some reaction from the almighty perfect son that I thanked-) but still... takes them long enough...

The final chat and the reaction of the classmates was hard to watch too because really, it looked so real, so like it can happen to any kid... that scared me a lot.

I feel terrible for the mom. She is so passive/silent about everything but she is hurting so much inside. The scene when she sees the lipstick on her husband's shirt and almost gags herself so nobody can listen to her cries was painful but really good. Poor woman.

But, Yoshimoto was brilliant, although I am not that hard-hearted (or maybe simulates he is). He has some guts yes, but well, he disturbs me big time, which, actually it's good. I totally forget he is Arashi's Sakurai Sho (or almost).

Must confess that if I got near a guy like that I would run for my life XDD... I mean, the weird walking, the stalker behaviour, the 'ghost seeing/memories assaulting him' that make him look like he's going to have an asthma or heart attack (very well acted, btw), the sauna sharing + talks and above all, the morning exercising! (has Sho watched himself doing that at the drama? I wonder... :P) All makes a complex and brilliant character but sometimes uncomfortable to watch in a good way, at least for me. I can't stop watching him doing what he does... even with that crazy looking smile plastered on his face...

But we also get moments where he looks sooooo good:

 photo kg2a_zpsf18958a6.jpg

 photo kg2b_zpsdeed8f50.jpg

 photo kg2c_zps639b4e24.jpg

And now we got a cliffhanger... who is Yoshimoto Koya?

Btw, the ratings went up, which made me extremely happy! ^^ how many dramas go up in the second episode?

Oh, btw, I'm a fan of the drama, definitely!! (in case it doesn't come across from this post :S)

I can't help it. The クビ moments are favorites of mine and if the ones in episodes 1 and 2 were great, this one was fantastic with Kageyama trying to dodge the flying クビs until the last one hits him... I always am amazed when people have to do this kind of imaginary things (added later with computers) and Sho did a great job. And his face afterwards when the camera gets closer is the perfect follow up to the previous moment... He has improved his acting even more, me thinks...^^ Or he just totally nails Kageyama... don't know

more with some spoilers )

Just some quick thoughts about episode 3, also to see how the.mobile app works... Spoilers ahead!!

How much I love this drama, seriously! It isn't just because Sho is in it (i haven't seen all his dramas *runs ashamed*)... but i have to admit that his Kageyama is amazing!!! i love how serious he is but how dorky he can be sometimes. He has an analytic mind and he obviously is clever and observant...

Okay, honestly, i could be talking about Kageyama for a while and there are only 3 eps out... How adorable can he get...

Things i love about episode 3:

- Reiko's 'this sucks' face.
- All the taking about Kazamatsuri's wealth comparing to hers... how they present it is so amusing...
- Kazamatsuri's Nikita version! i laughed so much!!
- That moment while talking to the victim's secretary? and Kazamatsuri hides behind a cushion to make the victory sign...
- Kageyama and his super heroine crush... going everywhere with her (although he had ulterior motives for that) His tea time was fantastic!!
- Reiko menacing Kageyama with getting rid of his cardboard superwoman... how she scans the room for objects to throw at him until she focuses on the cardboard and she realizes it's priceless... it was such a great moment!!
- and the end! the duality of Kazamatsuri being attracted to heiress Reiko and Kageyama caring about detective Reiko was really good. Kageyama had such a sweet smile on his face while watching all the pics he took of her... I think we may get that as the only romantic hints... Still don't know if i want it to go further... but in both cases! i don't want her with her boss (it's okay if he has a silly crush); and with Kageyama, i don't see it yet,  but i am fine with him propecting her, the mutual care and admiration... I love that!

I'm so sleepy today...

Again... that way, I can't keep being sleepy if you start with Believe , Jun-kun! (thank you!)... I like that song so much!!! I can't help but picture the pv in my head while listening to it ^^

He also mentions something about being spring in Tokyo, right before the first song.

I'm pretty sure he read a letter from somebody in Miyagi pref. who mentioned watching their messages on tv and stuff they do (I think) and at the end says something like that she/he? will be okay too. (frutrating that my Japanese is so limited)

Ashita no kioku it's such a beautiful song too!! He played it by request.

-first ads cut-

Didn't really get all the story from that mail from Yokohama about the Guinness book and erasers, but he ended it giving encouraging words...

By request from Hokkaido, Season. The song is really cute and I like it (as I like most of their songs), and it's nice to listen to it but it's one of those that doesn't grasp me as some others do ;) although its music is lovely.

After reading a couple of touching mails (for words I grasped and all), one mentioning their singing of Hatenai Sora right before Arashi ni Shiyagare (with Hatenai Sora music box version in the background while reading it) and another one from a person who mentioned that she listened to their songs every day to get courage and feel better (I think I got that she is in Tokyo and was worried about what was happening...)

I wish I got what Jun said there but he mentioned something about being in April and being more than a month and adding encouringing words. He put Michael Jackson's 'Heal the world' after that.

-second ads cut-

Didn't get the song or singer -has initials in the name or song- but it was a really cool song!!

Love how he reminds where people can contact him/the show ;)

And again, encouraging words for Japan! He's too sweet for words.

(I hope I can improve my Japanese more so I can get more of what you say, you lovely boy ^^ I'm in a quite important Jun mood today after rewatching HnA Spring SP, and all those Sakumoto things around lately... ^^)

Damn, I kept listening NACK 5 after Jun's radio show and they played a song in that other program, Exciting Saturday, that I need to know which one is but didn't get it all!!! Arghh!!

It was a beautiful song by a male singer had a kind of Michel Buble kind of touch (don't know if you get that I mean). I got it was something like 'Boku no only one'? but I don't get any google results with that... Does it ring any bell to anybody? I got the singer name may be something like Yamada or similar? I wasn't paying attention right in that moment (silly me)

In the song there was a lot of 'I love you, I need you, I kiss you, I miss you, in English-ish and mentions of the weather and rain... I NEED to know the singer and right title!!! (any help I truly appreciate it!) *headdesk*

I usually go to bed and woke up to listen to Junstyle and after the radio show I go back to sleep so usually I'm a bit sleepy...

Today I was a little less sleepy since Jun started right away with Happiness. How can I keep being sleepy after that!!

It was a request from Nara, I think. It's a song that gives energy so that's why it was requested (the mail also said something about their movies -me thinks- on tv and also mentioned Marching J).

After that he played Hero too (but didn't let it play all :S) I think it may be another request.

Another mail about Marching J lol! Seems like people were very thankul that they took the time to be there and people also thank them there.

He played 'We are the world' (it's been ages since I listened to that song!) and kept reading mails with people who went to Marching J (I'd have loved to be there so much *my personal thought*) Again, people se appreciated them doing that!!

He played another Arashi song I couldn't get the title because I s*** Your Song (thank you [livejournal.com profile] dekishimeta!), and after that, by request too he played Tobira (which I didn't know and I really like now!!! ) Thank you for discovering for me Jun-kun!

And he ended it as he did last week, something that sounds like Genki udaso, Nippon! (but not sure, it's 4 a.m. *pout*) So sweet and thoughtful!!! Ganbatte ne! to you Jun-kun (hope you're working in some solo work that you can't announce yet!! That would make a lot of people happy and also give them strength, I'm sure!)

Another good radio show!! *goes happy to sleep*

I must confess that I can't fall asleep as easily after but I can't help waking up to listen to it 'live' *shrugs*

Jun,

you know how much I love your radio show, how I always comment in your marvelous choice of songs ^^ Today you had to start Junstyle with Justin B...whatever??!! I know the reasons (he's popular and your younger audience are probably incredibly grateful to you for including it) and for that I forgive you...

Good thing you came back to your original good taste and put John Lennon's Imagine right after that! Thank you!

After that, there was a Nora Jones' song (I'm not a fan but she sounds good, so I won't complain)

There was a moment right before the first ads break that I thought the beginning of an Arashi song was played (one I like) but I can't put my finger on it.

In the background I thought there was a MJ song with kids but I can't be sure since the kids sounded to be singing in Japanese... sounded very MJish like anyway.

But you totally won me with Hatenai Sora music box version. It was asked by one person who wrote a letter requesting it and saying something about giving strenght with the song... so that meant...

HATENAI SORA!!!! (normal version too!) Kyaaaaa!! Love it so much!!!!

Sakurai Sake!!!

All that makes up for the first song, seriously!!!! *dancing crazily*

They started with their message (one by one). It was really touching and emotive and the moment I started hearing the music of 'Sekai ni hitotsu dake no hana', I got goose bumps. They looked (aparently) a little more in control of their feelings than Arashi, I think it's normal since they have been doing this for a longer time. I however thanked that they are doing a live show today! I think it's a great idea! I ♥ them for this!

After the song, they (I think because you know my limited Japanese) talked about what they were doing and where they were at the moment of the earthquake. For what I got, Tsuyoshi was filming his drama in Saitama prefecture... I think he got back by car, he said something about watching the news and being worried. I also think he mentioned Goro, so I'm guessing he was the one Tsuyoshi contacted. Goro talked after that and he mentioned Shingo, so I guessed he contacted Shingo. I didn't get where Shingo was. Kimura wasn't at Tokyo and his speech was the longest but sadly I didn't get it. He talked about the tsunami and the news and that he was with staff but... gomene!

I really like that they talked so naturally, and at their back they had a wall covered with messages sent by viewers and kept talking about things. SMAP talking with each other is something I missed so so much that I really appreciate this episode (hope I can watch it properly later, since you know how KH usually is...) they introduced videos of people talking about their experiences, offering messages... really touching... all with SMAP songs in the background. They read messages sent to the show by fax... and commented them.

Really great show, seriously!

I wish Arashi were allowed to do a live like this one, seriously! (how articulate I sound that I repeat the same words once and again, right? sorry) I want them sharing what they think and what they experienced during that time more freely... I guess that is something that only SMAP can do because of their special status, maybe? Well, I'd like to think any JE group could do one of these if they wanted, anyway...

Approaching the end of the show they also read more messages voice-off from people offering words of courage (for what I got). Really amazing and heartbreaking, finishing it with a smiling cute baby. One fax read by Shingo, congratulated them (I imagine for the live show -I was interrupted while I was watching that-).

At the end Goro and Kimura (maybe Tsuyoshi, can't remember although it has just finished) talked about JE and the concerts, me thinks.

They made it look so easy, how they talk so incredibly articulate in a live is amazing! So handsome in suits, so natural, so human but so professional... Go boys! I'd love to see more SMAP lives (and more Arashi lives, too) I missed Nakai's voice and hair.

KH was so so in the first one but well I managed to watch both today!

VS Arashi

I totally melt when Jun started reading a letter for a kid (I suppose it was the son/daughter of one of the other team members?) Such a lovely voice the boy has... And reading kids words... Amazing.

He also was pretty amazing in Cliff Climb (Nino and his hat too), as Aiba was in that Hockey thing. Ohno and the kid were too cute for words and Sho was quite respetable in the Jumping Shooter thing (I laughed so much watching Jun being bored in the up gate...

Poor Ohno! His face, I mean, his lovely hand covering his face was so sweet/cute... and the Most Dame Arashi when he felt... I've seen a cap around where he is scary looking and that's practically impossible!

Himitsu no Arashi

The guest was the actress playing the younger actress in Jun's Natsuniji drama... She was really funny! I was surprised.

The episode as a whole, I love it to bits!!! Nino is such a sneaky little thing... The guest mentioned she like some comedian guy (Tanoshii whatever or Shingo something) and because she asked Nino first to repeat his routine as vengeance he suggested Jun being the next.

We all know how he hates embarrashing himself... but the boy did great and with dignity... Sho laughed so much that I thought he was going to explode or something... Is it just me or Sho laughs in a different way if we are talking about Jun... probably it just me being biased. Sho was practically crying and the other three were laughing so much (they aren't used to Jun caving in and being a bit goofy... I guess)

Seriously my love goes to Jun in this episode and so goes the vip room guest because she chose him.

And Mannequin Five was pretty cool too. Jun was chosen first which I think I lifted his mood too, and second was Ohno, I think... Poor Nino was left unsold (that happens when you are a naughty boy and ambush your bandmates into doing ridiculous things lol!)

I know these two parts were probably filmed quite separately but anyway...

I really enjoyed both of them because after a couple of weeks where I thought Jun wasn't having fun, these two episodes I finally saw him having a great time and being even more involved than before... Again these are personal appreciations, I may be wrong.

Btw, I think he cut his hair a bit again (at the top mainly)

I keep having in mind several Arashi related things I want to post about and I never find the chance because I want to make caps to go with the post or offer a link or make some icons... the thing is that I never post about them and some days i think, I'm going to pass because I won't have the post the way I want it...

Well any way, let's go for the bullet points since I didn't make caps or anything.

* Favs songs for now (that I haven't listened to all-all): Truth, Step and Go, Tokei Jikake no Umbrella, Troublemaker, Spiral, Monster, Love so sweet, Love Rainbow, A.RA.SHI, Move your body, My girl, Kaze no Mukou e.

* My son loves Troublemaker pv. The fact that the orange juice goes up and down, makes him go all lol!

* I love their clothes in Troublemaker pv. I really, really love Sho's suit there! It's my fav!

* Me loves the pvs of Truth and Monster that may be similar in style and all but I like them very much. I especially like Monster pv because I love the song, the dancing and Aiba and Jun look really hot in those clothes they're wearing there.

* Today I've watched an interview to Sho in Shounen Club Premium and it blew my mind! I love him! I didn't know part of the things they mentioned but what really surprised me was how serious, down to earth and humble he is. I'm really impressed! Sho kun, you're really doing a good job trying to be my ichiban... (but Jun is still there ;))

* I also watched (fastforwarding a bit, didn't have time) a couple of Johnnies countdowns (2003 and 2006 I think). In 2006 they wore the coolest pink suits ever! In 2003, clothes too flashing and too costume-like for me...

* I discover I have a couple of shows where they performed Love so sweet and I enjoyed their performance so much!!

* I've seen a performance from an Utaban from 2008 where they sing Step and Go. In this live performance surprised me how differently dressed they were: Sho looked like a rapper, Ohno was Ohno but with a purple vynil jacket, Aiba was dressed as Aiba -always cool-, Jun was deliciously dressed, but, oh! Nino looked like he was Jun's sick and homeless brother O_o' It was really shocking when they came together on screen... will try to post at least some caps if I can.

* I've watched several Himitsu no Arashi (really love the show) and VS Arashi (also love it but I think I prefer the first one). I reeeally love Mannequin Five section and also that Host section. I wish I could watch more of those two.

* I'm watching (almost finishing) The Last Princess. Hmmm... my thoughts... well, I don't hate, I like it, it reminds me of that HK movie I talked about not too long ago, The Empress and the Warriors (TEATW). I recommend it just so you can watch Jun all dirty and messy looking (including his beautiful teeth) and kind of bare chest-ed... but really, the main idea of the plot is quite similar to TEATW.

* For now (still watching) my favorite Jun work it may still be Hana Yori Dango, followed by Myuu no anyo papa ni ageru, and this little thing that is an episode of a drama called Propose (Have I mentioned this before, sorry if I repeat myself...) I love that story! spoilers ahead )

* I really love Jun's Taiga in Natsu no Koi wa nijiiro ni kagayaku. Really like the chesmitry between his character and Yuko's.

* I watched the first episode of Kaibutsu-kun. I still don't have an idea of what I think about it. I liked it but it still isn't my idea of the usual jdrama... However Ohno is really fantastic there!

* Still think Aiba is the coolest dad ever.

* I'm curious about Gantz. I've watched the trailer, looks good. I'm not familiar with the manga/anime so I can't say anything in that matter but Nino looks cool there.

* I've watched almost all episodes (I think there are two for me to finish it) of a very old drama starring the five of them titled V no Arashi. They were so very young and so very cute. Jun had to learn and say all this stuff about volleyball, which made ma laugh, and Aiba and Sho play the cool parts... I so recommend it if you want to watch them together.

Now I go to bed.

I was trying to find a witty comment about the movie to use it as subject line using 'vanished' that is a word that here it may allow some words play... but I guess I'm tired and nothing good enough came. Anyway, it's a good thing that I'm leaving Bad Guy until there are more subs available so I can more or less marathon it and enjoy Kim Nam Gil in his magnificent state there... Because Lovers Vanished wasn't what I was expecting.

Oh, how much I wanted to like this movie! How much I wanted it to be at the level of Portrait of Beauty... but it couldn't be.

total spoilers and some caps of hottie Kim Nam Gil because he really is hot in the movie, that I have to admit it )

I am pretty sleepy right now so may be a possibility that something doesn't make sense. Sorry.
