Koreans know how to make you cry like a baby...
yes they do! (read at your on risk because I talk about the plot of a movie so you may find spoilers)

I've just finished watching A Moment to Remember (which I truly recommend) and as I say in the subject line of this post... I've cried like a baby... not all the time because the movie is horribly cute til past half of it but in the last 40-35 minutes... omg! The lovely couple crying themselves... and I reached the point of sobbing...

How nicely they do it, don't they... When I reached the point when things were starting to get 'dangerously cry-able' ;) I tried to be reasonable and to start thinking things like 'what a plot it's impossible she gets so sick in about a minute?! that's one of those Korean plot turns to get you all watery... but minutes later I didn't care anymore.

At the end I didn't feel depressed, just the opposite. Maybe it was cathartic... I simply love Jung Woo Sung a bit more because in this movie he's cute and sweet but also a tough guy with a a façade and a heart that doesn't want to get broken again (and it does, of course)... How lovely they are together, such cute moments... I simply love everything about the movie... even if it made me cry (I'm easy like that).

PS I need a good Jung Woo Sung icon... I think. (Watching Phantom The Submarine at the moment. I own the movie for years and haven't watched it properly til now).

The coincidence is that I started watching the movie you mention last night ;) It's interesting to watch them both talking in English. I like the movie and I think they're okay but I must confess that I don't see the chemistry between them that I saw between Jung Woo Sung and the female lead in A Moment to Remember.

I find the movie a bit slow for my taste. It may be because just before that one I watch a romantic comedy that was a bit faster and with a lot of things happening, don't know if I'm explaining what I mean correctly.

However I'm always open to suggestions about Asian movies in general (not horror movies and not very very sad ones, but the rest, it's okay). ;)

I'll take a look at the Sohu website. I recommend you, if you like romantic comedies, the one I posted about last night: Seducing Mr. Perfect ;)

Why didn't you like A Moment to Remember? I don't mind you telling me. I don't like the fact that they get an illness and in no time she gets very sick, but knowing Korean dramas tend to do that, I kind of forget about it and enjoy the actors. I really like Jung Woo Sung in that movie!

Yes, probably you're right ;) I used the Dumbo icon because I loved yours and I thought I should follow the Disney theme ;)
