As you can see, new header, new colors... Why I get tired of my layouts so quickly? I really don't know, maybe it's when my icon muse flies away, and I focus in a new header to get something creative done (header or manip).

Anyway, still Queer as Folk mood as you can see. The pic is from a Vanity Fair (dec'03 I think).

I'm thinking that what really will make the change of layout complete would be the fact that I manage CSS and change also the style from the components one to another and all that stuff... I'm still ignorant about that so I have to keep this one for now...

Since I saw a tiny teaser of Alatriste, the new Viggo Mortensen movie based in Arturo Pérez-Reverte's books, on tv the other day while I was watching the news... I'm in a loop!

I also read syliasyliasylia's post with a link to pics and I just drooled. I so want to watch it! And it filled me with glee to learn that it's released on Sept. 1!!!

Having in mind that Pirates of the Caribbean 2 is still to be released here (thing that annoys me to no end), it's good to learn that a movie I really want to watch will come sooner than I thought.

Anyway, I read the first two or three books ages ago, when they were released but I think I'm going to re-read them (hope to have time to read -I wish all- before the movie).

I heard that some people was against the idea of Viggo as Alatriste but I was pretty happy with the idea from the beginning. You don't get a famous actor to play such an important character in a Spanish movie... and more important, speaking a perfect Spanish (not being dubbed, that gives and awful taste to the movies).

I've heard him talking in Spanish with his original Uruguyan (it was that, right? not Argentinian) accent and he speaks perfectly! It was so cool to hear him talking that way and expressing himself with no problem at all. It happened the same when I heard Gwyneth Paltrow talked Spanish for the first time and with a Spanish-from Spain accent! Simply too cool.

Viggo sounded worried that he could look good in such an important part in Spanish contemporary literature and commented how he had a trainer that kept him in line to keep his Spanish sounding like Spanish-Castilian.

I have found three cool sites with pics from the movie and I just squeed non stop for a couple of hours or so... ;)

I just had time to make one icon, but will probably make more because I think I may be inspired to it (even after the fact that I don't have inspiration for icons lately :S)

I know it seems I can't stay with the same layout for too long... and probably that's true. It also has to be with my mood. When I'm tired of things and need a change, I don't go to the hairdresser, I may get another purse/bag and probably change my LJ layout (not in that same order, but just yesterday I bought a purse...)

So here it is the new layout, still Cedric and Hermione but I wanted to try the 'all white' look. However, I couldn't help but use colours at the top... they are so beautiful (and Cedric and Hermione too!)

Btw, all the images are from icons and manips I've made.

I was getting a bit tired of the previous look my LJ had. I really loved it but I needed a change so here it comes.

As I am in a Spooks mood right now, what's better than Rupert Penry-Jones as Adam Carter? ;)

Don't know for how long I will leave this one, but for now I like it... maybe I made some changes with the colors because I'm still adjusting to them, but in general I like it!

I'm still not ready for the change from this components style to another so I keep changing this one ;) In fact, the possibilities are quite large, imo...

As you can see new look for my LJ! I loved the previous design but I needed a change of colors and wanted something brighter and stronger ;)
I love that Las Vegas episode placed in the 60s titled 'Everything old is you again', Danny and Mary look so cute there!! and I've decided to use images from it for the header.
I like the result for now... when I get tired I may change it again ;) I also like the colors I have chosen. You may notice in the comments section that part of the letters being white can't be read very well. Sorry about that, but I like how the text in white looks. Hope you don't mind.

As you see the header is finally up. Immense thanks to winterspel for helping me with it! Girl you rock!! ;)
