Got a question to those in my flist who are Harry Potter fans and belong to some of the communities devoted to this fandom:

Which communities do you recommend me to post Harry Potter related art/manips/icons at? Because I wanted to share my Lupin/Tonks manip and icons and I'm finding it a bit tricky and I just can't decide. I want to target the right people and I don't think I'm aiming right.

I belong to some: _hp_layouts, hp_icons, hp_graphics, harry_potter and some others, but a couple are new to me, another isn't for graphics and the other one hasn't be updated in a while. So, I really don't know where to post manips/icons, because the icons ones, usually have a lot of members that post about Harry/Ron/Hermione and other young actors mainly and any of the comms I've seen manips. It seems that if you like the older ones (except Snape) you're in a minority *sigh*

I couldn't find any community about Lupin/Tonks, I'm not sure LJ is being good to me, or maybe I don't choose the right way to write the interest but I just don't get any, and I wonder if somebody else is interested in this shipping and may be glad to find out that there is somebody else (me) with the same taste and a bit of time to make artwork about them.

Of all my shippings the only one (I think) that has a community is cedrichermione but I also like Oliver/Hermione, Lupin/Tonks (yeah, I also like Lupin/Sirius, that is the exception, there ARE tons of comms but it seems I'm also missing the ones about graphics), Neville/Luna, Neville/Hermione, Lily/Severus (platonically talking), Ginny/Harry, etc... And about minor pairings the only thing I could find is a fanfic comm.

It isn't just that I don't find people with the same shippings than me, that it's allright, but I can't even find a community about Harry Potter manips, and I think it's a bit strange since the HP fandom is pretty big.

Any help / suggestion will be appreciated!

PS Sorry for those in my flist who don't like Harry Potter or HP fandom, please bear with me... the fever will pass, believe me ;)

There might be a rare pairings community? I can't believe there isn't given the size of the fandom. I don't know about the art, though...

Good luck: it's always sad when you can find others to connect to like this. I've had it happen a bunch of times.

wolfandlady is a fic/art comm devoted to Remus and Nymphadora. I'm not sure if there's a graphic-only equivalent, but someone else there might know. Either way, post stuff there as I'd love to see it! ;)

rt_challenge is in the middle of their August challenge (each day has a different prompt, no sign-ups required and you can post on any prompt as long as it's from an earlier day in the month) and they take art/fic/manips/videos of interpretive dance.

There are also a couple HP rarepair comms and I do think R/T qualifies, but I think they're all fic-only.
