I still have some episodes of Veronica Mars season 3 un-watched, but I can't help it since I know what is coming after Veronica resolved the r*pe case. I've seen things here and there, like Parker's birthday party, when Logan find Veronica and Piz making out... and most of the last three episodes.

I really like the Veronica/Logan tiny moments in those three episodes. I adore Logan's love loyalty for Veronica. How he goes straight to Piz and beats the hell out of him because it was Veronica's honor we were talking about!

I think I haven't commented what I think about the end of the series. I didn't want to watch it because a lot of people were disappointed. I am disappointed that they cancelled the series, and although there could have been a better end for the series, that meaning an obvious Veronica and Logan getting together again (and a passionate kiss or similar would have been fantastic), it wasn't terribly bad.

I mean I'm pretty sure it is not just in my head that Veronica looked at Logan in a different way, smiled like she just remembered all she loved about him, and when Logan apologized to Piz, 'for everything' I read/heard: 'I'm sorry I hit you and I'm sorry I'm going to get Veronica back because we're meant for each other'. And the look in Piz's face says he knows it. In that moment he knows he has no chance with Veronica. It's always been Logan, although she tried, and for that I'm kind of content with the end, although it's not perfect or totally close (as Roswell was).

Besides, in that last fight I just confirmed what I've been thinking since I started watching Veronica Mars, and that is that Jason Dohring is really good at feigning fights. The way he moves and everything makes totally believable. I remember thinking that he'd been great in 'The Fight Club' if that movie was filmed now (then he was too young, maybe). And that also remind me that I thought he would be great in a show/movie where he played a tough guy like Logan. Definitely he's not a pants with suspenders kind of guy.


Oh, and in another Jason Dohring related note, somebody posted at moonlight_tv spoilers from episode 10, that is Josef centric. Yippee! Although I'm not sure I should be happy since it can be the possibility of limited Josef's presence in the series and that is a 'no, no, no'! So I have mixed feelings: I'm happy there is a Josef episode, but I really hope is a good one.

Today, something make me smile and also wonder... Something related to this fear of 'no more vm fics' and it's the fact that people have already started writing Moonlight fics and to my surprise, somebody wrote a crossover fic Moonlight/Heroes, with Josef/Elle (I didn't know that is Kristen Bell's name in the series). I haven't read it because I haven't seen the new Heroes eps yet (although I'm pretty sure Kristen is not there yet).

Another thought that came to my mind is that it'd be kind of sad that JD's series sunk while Kristen's is all going more than well. And I wondered if JD should have chosen another project instead of Moonlight (although I'm not complaining, mind you, Josef is potentially an interesting character). I can't wait to watch episode 2 to see how things are. Oh, btw, HERE is the link to the fic I mention.

Btw, if somebody have some recommendation of fics where Logan gets hurt and Veronica takes care of him/realizes how much he loves her (and she loves him back). I'm a sucker for those fics because in most of those cases, Logan is saving Veronica's ass when she's been unfair to him in some way, or, Veronica is not sure about what is Logan's place in her life (trusting issues, doubts, Logan 'trying' to make her change, you choose the reason).

So as I say, if you know of one of those fic, I may have read it but maybe I haven't and I'd love to.

I even got ideas for fics that I probably won't write, but it has been ages since I feel that thrill about a fandom. I'm totally losing it (for a fandom) when: I can't stop watching pieces of the episodes, I can't stop reading fics, I get ideas for fics. In fact, that is more or less the order ;)



Talking about Heroes, it seems that all the cast of Heroes have a lot of fun together. the_grynne posted a link to some pics of the Heroes girls bowling, HERE and they're really look like they're enjoying themselves (take a look at Masi Oka's face in the couple of pics where Kristen is talking to Hayden Panettiere it's too cute to miss). And I love Kristen Bell's hair!

Returning to Jason Dohring and Moonlight. Somebody posted HERE a great wallpaper of Josef, that I couldn't help but start using as my current desktop image.

And I also found another delicious thing posted in one of the Moonlight communities. ( When hot is the hottest )

I've just finished watching episode 308 of Veronica Mars and I can't get myself to watch the rest after staring at Logan's 'my heart has been ripped of my chest by my girlfriend who I love more than she loves me' look. Poor thing. I just want to give him a bear hug and tell him everything will be fine (because there are lovely fics out there getting them together and doing other things and living happy ever after.

Seriously, I would have hit Veronica in the head hard! She looks so smart sometimes that she got me fooled...

I've been missing for almost a week! O_o! Last weekend we went to my mom's birth town and the rest of the week I've used my computer time in reading Veronica/Logan fics in the hope I found good ones apart from those who all of you, very generously, recommended me in one of my last posts.

And I did it. I did find good LoVe fics and I really enjoyed them! *sigh* I wish I had more time to devour them (and the ones that will come, I hope!)

Anyway, although I know it's a fandom from the past for some, I thought maybe somebody would appreciate a list of fics. Here I offer the ones I've read in the last couple of days that I've enjoyed very much (in no particular order). All of them have in common that I find that the authors captured both, Veronica and Logan, nicely, and also they are great stories or great situations and good dialogue and/or banter:

Shelter part 1 and Shelter part 2 by devilpiglet. Post 1.22 with a hurting Logan, with great lines like this one: "Veronica Mars," he whispers. "You break more heart than I knew I had."

Snark Never Goes Out Of Fashion by boyfriendincoma. Set at the poker game at the Echolls' during the episode 'An Echolls Family Christmas'. Logan and Veronica end being the only one playing. Hot fic!

Acting like fools by sexycereal. Set at the end of season 1. Short piece where Veronica tells Logan about the raping and how Logan deals with the info.

Sometimes It Feels the Same by kieyra. Logan is countin the days after their first kiss and dealing with the 'this hasn't happened' signs from Veronica.

I wanna know what love is by kantayra. This is a missing scene from 'Risky Business'.

Untitled (Need) by jwynn. Post 'Risky Business' where Veronica checks on Logan after the party. Short but very cute.

Both Planes Were Lost in the Crash by sexycereal. Set five years in a future where Logan disappeared after the events from season 1. Hurting Logan and hurting Veronica.

All dots and lines by sexycereal. Silly but cute fic where Logan and Veronica realize they have super powers that complement each other.

A is for Alpaca by maybedarkpink. This is another silly but also very cute (although short) thing that I like because I can't help but love when Logan comments in 'An Echolls Family Christmas' that his mother preferred to get an Alpaca instead of dogs (¿?) when Veronica goes to talk to him to hear his version of the poker game.

There are more but these are the ones that really surprised me and that I really was satisfied after reading them. I love the characters, the lines from them, some moments... Anyway, hope that if you decide to check any of them, you also like them.

So, can somebody please point me in the right direction to nice Veronica/Logan fics (well written and stuff, I mean) or recommend me those you've liked the most. I love you forever if they're placed during season 1 or after it (even at the beginning of season 2).

I think I probably pretty late commenting about this series, because I know some people in my flist has already seen it and talked about it, but well, I didn't have the time or inclination to watch it before and now I have (mainly because the reruns airs when I'm giving baby ginger his afternoon meal). The thing is that one episode per day seemed too little and in no perfect circumstances (commercials), so I asked my youngerst sister-in-law for the episodes I knew she had.

I'm at the end of season one and I absolutely love it. I must confess that this total bliss was destroyed when I took a quick look at episodes from season 2 and 3, but well, I try to keep enjoying the greatness of season 1 as long as I can ;)

Love the characters, especially Veronica since I didn't know I was going to like her. From afar she seemed an unbearable known-it-all, and well, she doesn't look that bad now that I know her a bit better.

Love Wallace, especially in the first episodes. I also enjoy the friendship between Duncan and Logan. They're so different in so many aspects but stick together maybe because of the world they belong to... I don't know.

I was shocked to see how arrogant and unbearable Logan is, especially in the first half of the season, but after watching what kind of family (=father) he has, I'm not that surprised and I felt really sorry for him.

That episode, when he organizes a fight between homeless and his father tries to fix it taking Logan to a Charity Home and Logan tries to get back at him saying to the press that his father will donate money, which at the end means Logan being hit with a belt by his father, was the point when my vision of him started to change (for good, of course). He isn't perfect, in fact he is a total desaster in more than one aspect, but it's the kind of character that I find interesting.

I knew a lot of people was Veronica/Logan shippers and after watching the first episodes, I couldn't see how things were going to developt to the point of me thinking that possible but I reached that point and I'm a confessed Veronica/Logan shipper (too bad I know how things end more or less *snif*)

In terms of shipping I can't stop myself from comparing Veronica Mars with Roswell, with, to my dismay, total different outcomes: Roswell finished perfectly (imo) and for what I've read, VM isn't going to be that way *pout* (will see)
