Okay, before saying anything I have to admit that I read some of my flist's thoughts about the premiere and that I had my own fears about this the moment I learned Jason Dohring was related to this project. The thing is that I'm watching just because he's in it. If he decided to be in a reality I probably would be watching too (yes, I'm pathetic that way and I don't mind).

So as I was prepared for the most dreadful thing ever, I must confess that I wasn't as disappointed as other people may have been. In fact I watched the episode without getting bored or anything... and I didn't feel any kind of nausea or choking symptoms... I quite enjoyed it, although that doesn't mean I didn't see the flaws, and they are some: the plot wasn't very original, the characters were quite flat and there are some moments I wanted to hit Sophia Myles' character in the head, seriously.

Hoping here that things look better in the next episodes, ( more detailed thoughts and obligatory Dohring/Josef pic spam, under here. )

Found a couple of Moonlight trailers in YouTube. After watching them, especially the large one, I'm a bit more impatient to watch it, although there is no Jason Dohring in any of them, to my disappointment *pout*.

However the main character, Mick St. John is looks more interesting than I first thought. The trailer looks great but I'm a bit confused because as I've mentioned there is no JD and there is no Sophia Myles either. There is a woman and there the old 'vampire'¿? that JD's character is supposed to replace... So my guess is that the trailer was made before the changes, or (the worst option) the pilot has characters that will change or 'disappear' in episode 2... Or maybe they made the trailer the way that any of them were showed, what is a bit evil.

We'll see.
