Just two quick links about bbc dramas

I haven't had the chance to watch Jane Eyre's first episode yet (in fact I haven't managed to watch anything lately)... but for what I read it's fabulous and Toby is excellent in it.

Maybe everybody knows about these two things already, but in case somebody was like me, totally ignorant about them, I've decided to post them.

I was surfing the official website at the BBC site when I saw a link promoting this other costume drama: Wide Sargasso Sea, a prequel to Charlotte Brontë's Jane Eyre. H E R E is the link to the BBC site about it.

I didn't know too much about this story but I have read about it in some LJ for sure... so it may be interesting for somebody.

It will air on Oct. 9 in BBC 4 (Jane Eyre is in BBC1 I think).

And it seems BBC4 will air some interesting dramas, including one I read about at [livejournal.com profile] minisinoo's LJ because the main character is played by our beloved Cedric Diggory, Robert Pattinson.

The definitive title is The Haunted Airman and is based in Denis Wheatley's The Haunting of Toby Jugg which tells the story of an injured veteran who goes to a remote Welsh mansion to recuperate. The news here is that the first part is supposed to air on October 31.

There isn't more information about it but there is a tiny pic of Robert (quite haunting). H E R E is the link to the dramas 2006 section of BBC4.

I'm really curious about the one with Robert, and not just because he's in it. I like thrillers. (g) But the fact he's in a wheelchair in it DOES push my buttons. LOL!

The Wide Sargasso sea is one of the few times (I think) an author plays in another's sandbox and it works. It really is an interesting spin on Jane Eyre. So thanks for alerting me to it! I had no idea that were planning on this.

I have missed "Jane Eyre" too! it is all due to my obsession with doramas. :) "Wide Sargasso Sea" sounds very interesting, thank you!

I'm sure that you'll love Jane Eyre - it's very good. I'm very fond of the original novel version of "Wide Sargasso Sea" and it's beautifully written.

Hi =)

This hot guy list is truly hard..

Early this week I thought of danish actors, and then female actors like Saffron Burrows.

Then asian actors from Infernal Affairs etc.

..um, and Sark, the villain in Alias *blush*

Maybe I better start to make a list every week ^_^
