I've been busy, still with my big room cleaning and changing things of place... I'm kind of tired and sick of it... I think I mentioned all the magazines I have, I'm still taking care of them, deciding which one I keep, scanning some others, getting rid of others... It looks like boring and it is, but I've also found some good pictures here and there. I think I will share some in upcoming posts.
I'm in a dorama spree but I'm not watching them yet, I don't know if that makes sense. The main reason to that is that I hate to be left with cliffhangers in doramas, I want to watch the whole thing and right now I prefer hardsubbed versions because to go hunting for subs is something that annoys me a bit. So far, I started watching two doramas: The Devil Beside You and Rider Kamen 555. I watched the first episode of both of them like three weeks ago, but didn't comment about them before :S
Devil Beside You started quite interestingly. The main female character has some funny and silly moments and over all, I love all the characters, but the main character's mother gets a bit on my nerves... nothing too serious, I still can stand the series and enjoy it a lot, because the main male character. All start with a love letter that falls in wrong hands...

Kind of hot ;)
Kamen Rider 555 is a surprise to me because if somebody told me that I was going to be interested in a dorama like this one, I would have laughed so hard!! Being brief, it looks like a version of the Power Rangers but for now (at least episode 1) just one superhero. The thing that got my attention is that when the guy transformed, the costume reminded me a lot of Takuya Kimura and Shingo Katori when they played their superhero skits at SmapXSmap, and also the fact that the guy reminded me a bit of Takuya Kimura, although less intense and less... hmm, hot (maybe they don't look alike at all, but he just reminds me of TK).

He looks better when he is all serious and frowning...

See the similarity in the costume? or it just me?
However,

That brings me to the fact that I have so many things waiting in my 'to watch' pile that I'm kind of overwhelm and I don't know where to start... I don't feel like watching any of them, although at the same time I want to watch them all :S Let me tell you, it's not a happy situation! In fact it's quite frustrating. Right now I still have last week episodes of Vanished and Prison Break to watch and I don't mind!
To that, I have to add that as I commented some weeks ago, I've succumbed to YouTube... I checked some Chow Yun-Fat stuff and found this:
The Bund, trailer
It's from one of his earliest works and it looks so interesting that I had to buy it, although the version available is in VCD with Chinese subs. But even the cover of it makes me want to see it all at once: young lovers, gangsters, betrayal... But to watch it, I would love to have one of those days where you can spend the day just watching.

*sigh*
But the thing is that the other day I also bought THIS, I couldn't stop myself from watching some episodes already ;) Brings so many memories and good times ;) Why do I feel
PS Forgot to say that I'm still in audiobook mood and I got five of them: the two parts of David Niven's autobiography, The First Casualty by Ben Elton, narrated by Jack Davenport, and two read by Hugh Laurie and Stephen Fry books ;)
And... today I got the best news ever: Takuya Kimura is releasing an special dvd for his birthday. I already pre-ordered my copy at cdjapan.co.jp. Yay!
like those old muppets and cartoons shows were way better than the current ones...
Current Mood:
apathetic
