I really don't have the time or energy to watch a lot series weekly. I try to keep my weekly dosis of Navy NCIS and Bones, but I failed this week. However I always find time for my two favorite shows: Ugly Betty and Moonlight.
I didn't comment on Ugly Betty season premiere because I really didn't have a lot to offer that hasn't already been said but I enjoyed it very much. I knew Hilda and Santos wasn't real but nevertheless I cried like a baby at the end. Poor Hilda.
Episode two was also great. I especially love the interaction between Mark and Justin and the fact that Christina finally told Henry about Charlie.
But I do have something to say about episode three, and that is that I absolutely love Gio! I was all 'allright, I'm sure you're exaggerating' when I read some entries from my flist about it, but boy were those entries correct or what! Gio is fabulous! As much as a Henry/Betty fan I am, I can't help but having the secret desire of Gio and Betty being together.
Let's face it. Henry is adorable in a geeky way. He's sweet and cute and you want to hold him and treat him with care. But I don't think he will complete Betty's character the way Gio can (with just the info I have from watching him in this episode). Maybe it's because I'm all for the banter and the clash of opinions, feelings, characters... But Gio seems to have the potential to offer Betty all the perfect boyfriend for Betty should give.
And I'm not comparing Gio to Daniel because I don't have the energy, really. I practically love all the male characters in this series so that means that I even could find okay the idea of Betty and Daniel but well, let's not go there and let's focus in Gio for now.
Btw, I think it was in episode two where Amanda gets Fey's dog and this guy arrives and complains about the smell... I cried out 'Deputy Leo!' *hearts in a stupid way* (he looks better in UB).
Now changing to my second love, or better said, a different kind of love: Moonlight. Oh, I was so impatient to see how Beth dealed with the fact that Mick was a vampire. I didn't expect the 'okay, you're a vampire, let's move on' kind of reaction, to be sincere, but it wasn't bad. I was expecting Josef's tongue-lashing about it as worried as he seems about people knowing about 'them', but I guess I'll have to wait for that.
I enjoyed the episode, I don't know if it was the case or the new interaction between Mick and Beth, or the flashbacks with Coraline, that I must admit, I enjoyed very much.
The thing is that after watching the episode I got some questions that I'd like to get answered...
I wonder... Does Coraline know Josef? If so, did they meet before or after she knew Mick? If she does know him, which kind of relationship do they have?
In fact after watching the episode I got a strange idea stuck in my head about the possibility of Coraline and Josef knowing each other. Have I read something about it somewhere? Is just my imagination? I'll post more about it later, I'm pretty sure I will.
I'm incredibly impatient to know how Mick and Josef met and how they became friends and why do they keep this friendship where clearly they have so different life styles.
Does Josef have a lot of friends? Because it seems he has just a few among vampires, but he also seems powerful... so I'd like to know more about this. If he doesn't have a lot of friends and have problems with other vampires, what happened there?
How, and more important, who turned Josef into a vampire? It was supposed to be around 1600... I so want to know flashbacks of this!!!
