I haven't watched PotC 2??? *snif* :'( I want to cry!!! *g* Now seriously, the thing is that it doesn't get released here until August 11!! Can you believe that!!!! Everybody else has already watched it! I feel so out of the loop LOL! And I'm pretty sure I'm going to like it ;) If you've watched the first, maybe you should give it a chance...
Glad you like the icon of C/H... That one was the very first manip I made and I only made it in icon format, unfortunately ;)

Anyway, I'm taking a few of these. I'm not sure which ones yet. Will credit if/when I use them.

In fact, now I realize that Dirty Dancing is may be in the category of 'guilty pleasure' around here... However it's the kind of movie that people of my age and younger, here, have seen like tons of times :S
So I supposed making icons from it would be cool... LOL! Now it may look a bit dorky :P

I babble. Nonetheless, I hated the movie so much! But then I watched it a few years ago, without Tara (the girl obsessed with Johnny/Patrick Swayze) and I realised I didn't hate the movie at all-- I hated Tara! Hee. I actually quite like the movie now because my parents used to drag me to the Catskills (where the movie takes place) and I would want to just kill myself, too. Only I never met a cute goy (non-Jewish boy) to have fun with. And my dad always calls me Baby. ;)

The movie is a tricky one, for what I'm discovering... I thought everybody of my age or younger liked it because it's the kind of movie we watched here lots of time... ;)
It's normal that you got to hate Patrick Swayze if that girl was a bit of a pest about it, I understand you!!
Glad to know you like the movie a bit more now ;)

Yes, well, the Catskills today are totally run down. Most of hotels shut down. They were in their heyday during the 1940's-1960's, so it looks nicer in the movie because it takes place in the 60's. Now they're grotty little dumps that haven't been redecorated since 1960 with mould and telephone outlets so old you can't even plug your computer into a modem, much less get a wireless connection! My grandparents were of the generation a little bit older than Baby's parents and my parents were Baby's generation, so they have fond memories of the hotels. Escaping the city heat and crowd for the country and all that. Actually, all the times I've gone have been in the winter, which is even worse, because you're stuck inside the entire time.
Okay, I'll shut up now. :) Jerry Orbach rocks, so gotta love the movie for him. And 'Nobody puts Baby in the corner!' Yeah!
