So I answered all of them but I will also like to discuss them here:
I'm getting worried about the BW concert and I don't think they will release one because I'm pessimistic. Being pessimistic too, I also don't think there will be extras. But I'm hoping, because the last concert had the interviews and training camp. Of course, they'll probably release though and I'm just worrying silly. I wonder if the activities Arashi are currently doing have any impact on the release of the DVD. As in they're going to include some documentary or behind the scenes thing with the DVD and so that's why they're waiting or something. IDK. Hopes.

3 singles at least! Aiba and Ohno's dramas, and hopes somewhat for a single for Nino's movie too. Or something in the fall.

I am pessimist like you but about the concert dvd, my pessimism goes more in the lines of they not releasing two versions just one with no extras or with bad editing...

I think they will release one but having in mind that they know that they are going to sell it anyway... they (not meaning the boys but those in charge) won't really care about the content/quality... If Jun were involved in the process I know it would be good... but if any of the boys are directly involved... who knows the result.

They are so busy that that's why they are postponing the release... too many Arashi stuff around... but the thing is that spring is going to be the same, and summer there is Olympics and 24h terebi and after that we start with all the craziness Christmas related almost!!

All that makes me pessimist towards the option of having an album/tour... something tells me there won't be one, or at least not at the time we got BW.

Singles? I think Ohno and Aiba's drama themes (if there are two, that should be, because wouldn't it look bad that they make one for one drama and not for the other?) will come together in one release. If they have a single for the Olympics (maybe another JE band takes care of that instead of them, no!!!) and something for 24h terebi, probably go together too...

That makes them two cd releases but actually three/four singles (It seems I am optimist about that!)

I know we talked a little bit... (in our one brief chat session... I wish I could chat with you more.) about my feelings on this.

I'm really not doubting they will release a DVD of BW, but I almsot kind of feel like, with everything else, it won't be anything spectacular. A simple digest extra of the other venues, maybe a short behind-the-scenes/interview. I think because of how busy they all have been, they won't/didn't have time to help with it.

And I am still convinced the album with be out late June/early July, but I am torn on the BW DVD as being around the same time, or after the Olympics... And I think if they do a theme for both Satoshi-kun and Aiba's dramas, it will be a double A-Side, but I'm feeling like only one of the dramas will have an Arashi theme. And I think they will release a single for the Olympics.

And of course we'll have the NazoDi and Lucky7 DVD's, as well as possibly the KagiHeya and Holmes DVDs by the end of the year.

Tell me which hours are you around or tweet me saying that you are around and if I am home I will try to open the msn ;) no prob! I also want to chat!

As you, I think they will release the concert, what really worries me is the quality/content of it. Also agreeing with you, it won't be anything spectacular, which is really sad!!

I don't really know what to think about the album anyway. I really want one with its tour, of course, but they look so busy that it seems so difficult to find the time to choose good songs and record them, actually *crosses fingers*

Thanks to others' comments I realized that it's true that when Sho and Jun had a drama at the same time, the only one with a theme by Arashi was Sho's and not Jun... but when it was My Girl time, Ohno's sp drama got a single that was with My girl single... so who knows what they will do.

Yo creo que sí sacarán el dvd, o más les vale porque sino creo que moriré, yo y muchas más xD aunque sí es verdad que están tardando mucho en anunciarlo este año, supongo que eso será que no tienen planeado hacer como el año pasado y sólo será uno :'( el cual creo que podría salir para mayo y con el kokuritsu nada más, viendo los últimos... el kokuritsu está bien, pero de vez en cuando me gustaría ver también la versión de los domes.
Estaría bien que el dvd fuese acompañado por extras *-* el del año pasado me encantó ^^ me gustaría que fueran de nuevo a hacer un training camp xDD todavía recuerdo lo mucho que me dolía la barriga de reírme xD

No sé si Arashi está involucrados con el dvd, lo único que espero es que sea un gran concierto y que no vayan a cortar alguna parte interesante :'( aunque si por esa parte me ponen a Arashi celebrando el cumpleaños de Sho creo que lo resistiría *-* xDD

Por último, creo que Arashi sacará 2 singles más, tal vez 3 a lo mucho, uno para el dorama de Ohno o Aiba, no creo que saquen un single para cada dorama, contando con que canten las canciones de los dos, cuando Jun y Sho sólo cantaron la de Sho, creo que ahora pasará igual o sacarán más versiones, igual puede pasar como cuando sacaron My girl ^^ las dos canciones de los doramas (My girl y 0 goshitsu no kyaku) en un mismo single. También creo que sacarán nuevo álbum, la Johnny's últimamente vive de ellos y no creo que vayan a quedarse sin hacer dinero xD, por último también me gustaría un dorama con ellos durante el 24 jikan terebi ^^ uno con los 5 y que te haga llorar de verdad, adoro llorar cuando veo esos especiales ^^ aunque luego se me queda mal sabor de boca xDD

Yo creo que sacarán el dvd, no sé cuándo pero bueno, yo creo que por lo menos uno, sí sacarán. Deberían sacar dos, como el año pasado, queda un poco rarito que un año vayas y saques dos y al siguiente, con ellos aún más arriba, vayas y vuelvas sólo a uno... pero ya sabes que JE a veces es todo menos razonable o racional... así es que...

Ahora que Jun y Sho acaban con sus rodajes, se podían poner los dos a currárselo y sacar un buen dvd set!!! Venga chicos!

Ohhhhh, yo también quiero un drama con los cinco en el 24h... Kanjani8 hizo eso el año pasado no? Aunque uno era el prota, todos salieron en él, por lo que he oído... De verdad que me haría tan feliz y como tu dices, disfrutarlos llorando a mares, pero de forma catartica, que te quedas como nueva luego ;)

I started to fill this out, but then I realized there were questions that didn't have the answer I wanted to choose.

So in the spirit of extending my procrastination on work, I'll post some of my thoughts here.

I don't think there's a question about whether a BW DVD will be released. I think it'll probably be released same time the Scene tour Dome DVD was released last year, so around June?

I don't know about the venues b/c I don't know how that's normally decided, but I don't think it'll be two different releases, because they're all so incredibly busy this year I don't see how they would be able to prepare for something like this (especially if they want to include extras), unless they leave it all up to other people to make the final call and don't take any part in the editing process. If only one person was to be involved, I think Jun, since he's so meticulous about this sort of thing. And he'll be finishing up L7 soon, so he'll have a wee bit more time on his hands than the others for now.

I also don't know what to think of the singles. If there's a single for both Aiba and Ohno's dramas, I wonder how they'll promote them. As it stands, I still don't get why Waiha was released so late after L7 began airing. If there's a single also for Sho's Blackboard SP, NazoDi SP and Nino's movie, I just don't know how they are going to get all that out, plus host 24 hr, release all their dramas on DVDs, etc.

I really hope it gets released before June!!! It looks far away, although the way my days goes by, in no time June will be here... Nazodi SP looked so far ahead and we will have it in a couple of weeks!

I want two releases because it really looks kind of weird releasing two versions one year and coming back to just one when they are still going so strong! right?

Now that Jun and Sho will be done with their dramas, maybe they can work on it together?? That would be good!

Waiha was released so late!! and now if they are having singles for the dramas of Ohno and Aiba they will be so close! Actually thinking about it has made me think that maybe they don't release any! and both dramas have themes by somebody else! Arggh! no!!

Don't think there will be singles for Nazodi SP (they will use Meikyuu) or Blackboard... Nino's movie maybe, though ;) Just my two cents ;)

It was definitely abnormal, right? That Waiha was released so late? I truly believe that if it was released at the beginning of the dramas, L7s ratings would have been higher. How could it possibly not?!

But you know, it was probably delayed because (surprise surprise) the boys were too busy. :/

That's true, Sho's finishing up too, so if Sho and Jun can collaborate, then I trust them to give us awesome concert DVDs. I just really don't want to be disappointed, as it'll be my first time shelling out for the one (or two) DVDs instead of watching DVD-ripped versions.

As an Arashian, I'm loving all this Arashi exposure, but for others, it may be too much? (the horror!!) But it would be so messed up if Aiba and Ohno's dramas didn't have Arashi themes, nooo!!

Ok, if the NazoDi SP and Blackboard SPs don't need singles, then maybe it gives them a bit more room to breath, but still, 24 hr is a huge huge thing, and also the Olympics. Not to mention their regular shows, that they seem to be doing a lot of SPs for (which again, I love, but I think it's taking a toll on the boys).

I say this after watching the last AniS w/Toma, and Jun looked so beat.

But yes, I wish I had the BW DVD right now in hand. Their concert DVDs rock my socks off, and I love working out while watching them too LOL. An hour goes by so quickly! xD

Just my opinion but if they don't release Arashi's concert vid's then the are IDIOTS! And have no freaking clues on marketing.

They had the top selling concert video's for how many years now, 2 or 3...they would be stupid not to put them out on the market and make a couple hundred million (maybe a billion) yen. STUPID!

They have proved before that sometimes they don't do what it is obvious profit wise... so who knows!! Maybe they are worried that they are too much everywhere and people get tired of them... but being the case, they should reduce the appearances around, not leaving us without two dvd releases...

If they were to release the DVD, it has to be before their next tour starts. Whenever that will be, if any.

I wonder if they have problems with the audio/visual as it was raining during Kokuritsu. I'm thinking Kokuritsu+Dome together. Either one can be the digest version. Waku Waku Gakkou... J-Storm likes to pull surprises.

I wonder if they would couple Arashi's future releases with charity. Certain percentage goes to charity like SMAP did with their last album. If they were to raise donations for 24-hr tv, this would be one of the best way to go. Also T-shirt design. ^^

They haven't announced anything for summer yet. Summer is usually Arashi tour season. Already expecting someone acting in 24hr tv drama SP. Nino and Jun already did them before. This year... Sho...? But he already has 2 SPs in Spring.

I know he shed his weight for Blackboard, but I do hope his dieting is monitored by a certified nutritionist. With his intense schedule already mentally demanding, the thought of the stress to his body... T_T

Olympics this year is between 27 July and 12 August. If they were to have a tour, it could start end of August or early September. Their usual pattern.

If News Zero send Sho over to London, could we possibly have an English version of their song or something, please. Or NTV could send Arashi over to perform there as well. Do a special PV or tv show or the like. Can you imagine an Encounter with the Unknown London SP in Shiyagare? Maybe a 'how to be a sir' Dandyism corner SP with the Godfathers/mothers bringing Arashi on a field trip in London. :D

I used to think that Arashi usually leave two 'anchors' free from individual projects, so the anchors could shoulder their variety shows and other stuff. With the anchors, the others could relax a bit. However, now each of them have their own projects. They're really committed to spread a sliver of happiness to the public.

Hmm... I wonder if the Shiyagare Western face-off is done to lighten the burden on Arashi, especially Sho, from hosting the show. Sometimes I just want the others to speak and lead the conversation with the anikis more, so Sho can relax a bit. There are times Sho stood a step back from everyone else (usually behind Ohno), and even made it hard for the cameras to film him. I wonder if he is unconsciously trying to blend into the background to get a breather. I think the others (Nino, Jun and Aiba) picked up on that and they tend to talk more when that happened.

Anyway, I personally don't think Arashi have much say in the final outcome of their DVD. They just filmed and hope for the best. If they had, they would so include Sho filming Nino and Aiba bathing during the training camp. XD

From their recent VS Arashi project meetings, it seemed those two tend to be the main idea generators and decision makers.

Hmm... Personally I would like to see J-Storm marketing for million-in-a-week sales. What kind of epicness could arise from that? Reading some fan reports about CDs being sold out and fans had to pre-order copies from their retail stores in Japan prompted me to wonder if J-Storm is actually on the conservative side with the no. of copies they published.

I'm expecting another single and DVD, then a new album followed by a tour. Then another 1/2 singles before the end of the year. Arashi need to be given a break in Autumn and before the year-end frenzy starts.

To have a Jounestu Tairiku documentary on Arashi/Sho this year would be amazing. I wonder how they juggled all their personal and professional, and individual and group commitments...

I was thinking about the dvd too... If the preorder is not out by this month, we'll prolly have to wait til May/June, which is kinda late!! And I am hoping that if it is taking them that long to come out with a dvd, it'd better be footage of the Fukuoka con this time, although I know that everyone says that it is impossible...

lol..no ? why would I be..? if they are to release one they will, if not they won't. me being worried won't change the facts. :p

most probably. and yes, one. :p last year we got two because of reasons..but I expect(and hope!) it won't happen again.

well..that depends on the content obviously..most (Arashi) concert dvds take 5-8 months to edit, so it could be any time from April(if Kokuritsu) till June(if Dome)?

Which venue/s do you think will be included?
now that's tricky..Kokuritsu's both days had rain and various (noticeable and unnoticed?) mishaps and the tour Final had..well we all know what :p and getting a dvd with that *on* it are probably minuscule. + various other dates(including the final?) were deemed dvd-camera less in fan reports..so long story short, God knows. :p Anything would be good though.

About the extras, will it have some?
They're not really important on concert dvds, so who cares. They're good and appreciated...but they are not necessary. :p

Do you think Jun and/or Arashi are directly involved in the edition of the dvd?
Jun probably/definitely is. I think he has mentioned it either on Enjoy or JunStyle before.

Which other releases do you expect during 2012?
At least 2 more singles by the end of the year (I hope they pull a Spring 2009 with the 2 April dramas though D: or a double-A. otherwise it'd be too much of an overkill. they *don't* need to make a theme song every. single. time for every. single. renzoku drama D: of course most people don't seem to understand that).. Then probably a new album( in the second half of the year?) and of course dvd boxes/ dvds for this years series/sps (Lucky Seven box, here I come! :3)

..and I wouldn't want to lose hope just yet, but Aa Kouya's dvd was a lost cause the second the butai was announced. :p
