who is in charge, I want to complain!  
Seriously, sorry for linking to the photo, but there is no way in hell I am uploading it to my server... because I kind of hate it don't like it too much.

HERE.

Which are the chances, I mean, how can somebody (or a group of somebodies) get this man to look like a crazy housewife (not intended to insult those who are housewives, probably I can consider myself more or less one).

The first pic is okay since it's funny, but the second u.u' it's so 'oh my eyes!' Why oh why it seems like a national sport among stylist, photographers and photoshoppers in charge, to get Matsujun to look less beautiful that he is, because come on! the man is hot!

That hair has to go, don't put it that way, (who's idea was!? behead him/her lol! *evil laugh*) with some bangs falling on his forehead he looks really good, the JE shop photos for Wild at Heart for example, he looks so hot it hurts! (or my icon, are good example)

Why those tv guide and the like enjoy taking non-good pics of the boys, especially Jun.

I still hope that as it isn't a good version of the pic, it gets better when I see proper scans... but my hopes are not really that high. I wonder if they have a say or see the final result of every photo shoot because come on Jun, you see yourself okay there... I wonder...

I know, I know I am exaggerating, but seriously, I've been following the magazines since Lucky Seven promotion started and I have to say that there are some photo shoots that I don't think make Jun justice, this being one.

And those photo shoots are the ones that get me started wondering if he did something to his face please don't!- ([livejournal.com profile] sesquerdo knows how irrational I get about that sometimes and not only about Jun... [livejournal.com profile] cypros knows about my craziness Sho related)... Because when something is perfect you don't need to try to get it better (chances are you ruin it, I'd say)... *sigh*

notes:
Arashi is my main and only fandom at the moment (my personal decision), so all my fangirl time I spend it on them... so that's why... I ramble and ramble... just so you know. Also, I am not writing this to start a fight or anything... just to vent my frustration, thank you for reading!

AGH! NOO! WHY?!!?! How is it possible to make such a beautiful man so... AHHH! o.X

Only thing I can think of is jealousy. And please no I hope and don't think he touched his face. :( Jun baby you're so gorgeous as is!

I don't follow KAT-TUN, but when I saw photos of Kame recently, after having seen him first in Nobuta wo Produce, I was like WHAT THE HELL HAPPENED TO YOUR FACE?! D:

I know!!! I know the quality of tv guides isn't superb, but come on, as perfectionist as all the boys are, wouldn't they take a look at the final result? Maybe they are just too busy :S

About Kame, I know!!!! Sometimes I wonder what he did to get those cheeks he has now... *don't want to think* He looks good but sometimes comparing images the difference is a bit disturbing...

I actually didn't like Kame's sunken in cheeks back then, but it grew on me (loved his little pigtail on the top of his head in NwP).

Without seeing his older photos, newer Kame fans might not realize it. But when I first saw recent videos/photos of him, I thought his face was swollen or he gained weight. But it was all in his cheeks. *.* I don't even know how one is able to put that much padding into one's face like that. x.X ACK. So so disturbing.

There are times that stylists and layout editors and such really piss me off. I don't know why they think some of these things are okay, but they're not. (I'll save the Aiba/Birthmark rant for my journal, but it's a big example of how I feel about that.)

It's times like these that bring up the whole wondering about the anti-Arashi faction, and wondering if there is intention to sabotage involved. Or do these hack stylists really think it looks good? (And I could go on about the whole short pants thing... which I hate, but I won't.) But I have come across photoshoots that I almost want to throw something because of the make-up or styling that they gave to one or more of the boys.

As for Jun/surgery, I admit, there are times I have wondered myself... But then I look at older pictures and am able to assure myself he hasn't. (Other than he might do some botox, that I can't be certain... though it would be fairly stupid for him to do that when he constantly has to be smiling and showing emotion... but who knows. Vanity can make you make stupid choices, especially when you have the money to make them.) But everytime I look at celebs like Tsubasa and Gackt I pray that our boys don't think they have to fall into that too. ;o;

I imagine that there are anti-Arashi everywhere, including media... or maybe even anti-JE and if they can ruin their golden boys...

But the truth is that I think they are just too busy and the quality of those magazines isn't as good as An An or Men's Non-No, H, Act, etc...

Jun sometimes, really, makes me wonder... to the point that I start comparing pictures and he looks the same in general, maybe he is too pale and the way they shape his brows is a bit different from my favorite phase of him that is Smile period ;) but yes, sometimes I really drive myself crazy, because he doesn't look like the type to put things on him (I read that at least before, he was fan of natural medicine, so that and botox doesn't mix well... but who know the pressure and stuff... However, also, as an overthinker that he is... he just doesn't look the type, but well...

I really hope they don't go that way, because please, they are natural boys, acting natural and close to people, so we fans want them (I imagine) that the grow up and grow old as we fans do, but classy-ly ;) as I am sure they will do.

Yeah, I know it's mostly because they are so rushed but there are times I feel especially paranoid, and the sabotage theories come out again.

On my better days I believe it is just make-up/photoshop that makes Jun's face look odd sometimes. And I know how he is. And that perhaps he might be too vain for even botox... XD But I always stop and wonder, because I am not starting to see the lines on his face that you see on the others (Aiba most of all... but I like that). However, that can also be due to my age theory too. XD

I definitely think Aiba will not do that, especially since he doesn't view himself as an Idol and certainly forgets he is sometimes. And since the others have started to get crow's feet and other laugh lines, I hope that they won't feel any need to change that. To just age beautifully and naturally.

Hum… I confess that I don’t think he looks so bad… But, I guess you will call me biased… Honestly, I think maybe it is not only the magazine itself that it is responsible for this, maybe their lack of time too… They usually shoot these pictures for TV Magazines after they record their TV Shows or their dramas, so, probably, they are usually tired and with no time to fix hair, make-up and things like that… When there are interviews on those magazines, they always say that Arashi has no time, that they are fast to do things and so on… So, maybe, that’s why you don’t get the best pictures on those TV Magazines…
And I will repeat again just to assure you – no, he didn’t do anything drastic to his face – remember to consider just the videos, after all, magazines are full of photoshop! ^.~

You are quite biased, my dear, but I know that already lol! ^^ Jun kun has an inconditional fan in you lol!

Those magazines are pretty crappy comparing to the ones with really good photo shoots but they are so much in them lately that it's impossible for me not to get fed up of all the crappy quality/crappy photoshopped pics. There are exceptions but sometimes, seriously...

You know I have already compared pics of him more than once lol! However in your sentence you are already admitting he did something to himself, because of course drastic it isn't because if it was we all had noticed it LOL! so you admit that you think he did something although not serious already?? *wink*

Don't worry, it is just that those pics were just too much. As cool as he was in yesterday's Lucky 7 episode (although I'd admit that the glasses in episode 9 aren't as good on him as the ones in episode 8, imo) it was a bit of a shock and just one of the worse pics I've seen, imo (too).

Ginger-san, you know exactly what I think since we “talked” about that before so I don’t have to admit anything! Honestly, sometimes, I don’t know what bothers you so much in the pictures, that’s why I used the word “drastic”, not because I think he did anything. I think he, like all idols, uses beauty products to hide skin imperfection, to hide bag under eyes for not sleeping or to hide puffy face and things like that. Also, I think he might have done some skin treatment, like anyone with skin problems may do. But, NO, I don’t think he did any plastic surgery to change his nose, his mouth or whatever.
And, like I said to you before, although I don’t think he needs to do anything, I think he might do when he gets older if he thinks he needs it because Jun-kun is worried with the way he looks. But, repeating myself to make clear what I think, he didn’t do anything yet, in my humble and, yes, biased, opinion.

I know, I know... but i found it funny the use of drastic, there, hope you don't get it in the wrong way, because I was trying to sound jokingly in my comment... (that's why I put a lot of lol!) because I know that you know what I think about it, and even I myself don't know why I get so obsessed with it... He is beautiful and I think he is, now, then, no matter what... it is just annoying to see that they take bad pics of them....

And being an artist I imagine that if we use make up (well, not me in a daily basis) to cover stuff... he will do it even more, I do know that...

For me it's just annoying to see him not looking incredibly beautiful as he is, in those tv magazine...

Please don't get offended because it wasn't my intention! I wish I could be as biased with you and see him always flawless... what is wrong with me!

i see a lot of bad photos in the tv magazines too
they should take photoshop courses to learn how to airbrush better

it makes me think of that youtube video someone made with images of a movie on hitler
and in the video they complain about arashi not doing those JE mag shoot anymore and now all we got is tv guide magazines bad pictures that they shoot rapidly without taking the time to do some quality shootings

i don't think he did anything on his face but that he does those facial cleansing thing (i don't know how to call it in english) to try to even out his skin i think
he should blame his teen self for being so lenient, now he has all those scars for life. they won't go away

that's why i think they airbrush him so much but in the end we got those lousy pictures when it's not done by a good photographer

i think i read in one of yamakaze posts that he's one the celebrities that asked to be airbushed the most because of his skin but then that info came from a lousy tabloids but i sense some kind of truth in it

Photoshoop in those tv magazines is just awful!!! That's why this one was just the last one I could handle... ;)

I know he has bad skin on his cheeks but honestly, with a bit of PS just there would be enough... why do they have to touch his whole face... and in this particular pic, the hair is \Ö/!

They really must be busy because Jun being as he is, I think he usually likes to check the result of their work (in pv filming and stuff he does, right?)

I have to agree with you... The pink colour is too striking!! I thought of buying the mag because it had posters and all, but now I am definitely not getting it.

I totally understand!! You know earlier this year I was thinking Jun's face was different but after some thinking I decided that it's probably a combination of a) bloating and b) bad make-up. Some of those bad pictures look like his make-up is too thick - maybe he's working too many late nights and they want to cover dark circles?
