I took it back to give it to Sho's character in Blackboard, that seems to need more love than Kageyama atm...

Dear boy! He looks so stoical but hurting inside... I pictured the hair looking something like that but he truly looks good! (the forehead it's okay) and his right arm *cries* ;_;

I am going to cry so much with this character and this drama...

I saw the pic at weibo first but you know how fast tumblr is: here.
I'd give credit to the girl from weibo, but not sure if she would like that or if she got it from somewhere else first...

There hasn't been a lot of info about the plot, actually. What I have read around is that the mini series depicts teachers lives/way to teach in different moments of Japan History. Sho's is the first episode and the time setting is after WWII. I am not sure if his character was a teacher before the war or a student, but after the war, where he lost an arm (;_;) he comes back to teach and it's is supposed that he is still in a wartime like mind frame. The AKB girl is another teacher (English teacher I think) that sees things differently as he does. And there is also his sister in law (I suppose the brother died in the war or something) so it is supposed to be something like a love triangle...

I hope I am wrong in my assumptions and we get at least a kiss... it's not too much to ask no? but knowing Sho's luck in romance in his previous dramas... *cough*

I actually hope to know more about it soon. I am kind of obsessed with this drama. I like to think that it was Sho's personal decision do to this drama... You know how he cares about studies, Japan history and reality... I don't know, and knowing he lost weight for this (hope Jun invites him to a banquet or something when the filming finishes) it looks to me like he has invested a lot effort on this -no that he didn't do it with his previous works- but it looks like something that really matters to him... like that docu drama about the Kobe earthquake... Don't really know if this makes sense :S

And i totally agree with your theory and i'm looking forward to the drama as I like period piece in general and if it teaches you history at the same time, i'm all for it

i'm amazed at the pace they managed to loose weight. It's so fast in so little time, sometimes i worry!

yes I belive the love story will be put to a minimum too
I liked that AKB girl in the last drama she starred in, although my favourite was the girl from gantz but i don't really see her pairing with Sho
(seriously he's too hot for her lmao! )
But then again I should stop being shallow and anticipate a relationship based on their intellect and their views on life and education

speaking of relationship, i saw the raw for kamikaru, i hope we'll have the subs really soon

I was a bit concerned about the look in the drama with all the speculations about the cut and all that... but he looks really handsome, doesn't he?

I can't wait! it's going to be a long wait until April 5! *sulks*

Oh, yes I saw the raw. I will probably take it since although I ordered the dvd le version, it will reach me way beyond Feb 24 (if Royal Mail doesn't decide to lose it *dies of worry!*)

I so want to watch that movie!!!! I know I will love that character too, even with the 'original' hair ;)
