En mi mente enferma yo ya me he creado un crossover entre este drama y Wagaya no Rekishi. Sho profe y Jun estudiante que quiere ir a la universidad y luego es un 'genio en lo suyo'... jar hay un potencial ahi!!!! Imaginate al final de la guerra, que el personaje de Jun ya ha dado el estiron y Sho vuelve tras todo lo que ha sufrido... ains que me pierdo... :)

Yo también he notado la escasez de fics sakumoto, yodos los días entro al lj rezando para que haya, pero nada, sólo hay sakuraiba y matsumiya ;w;
Por cierto, acabo de leer que a Sho le va a cambiar todavía más el pelo para las escena de antes de la guerra...me supongo que en esas escenas tendrá el pelo más largo...no?

There hasn't been a lot of info about the plot, actually. What I have read around is that the mini series depicts teachers lives/way to teach in different moments of Japan History. Sho's is the first episode and the time setting is after WWII. I am not sure if his character was a teacher before the war or a student, but after the war, where he lost an arm (;_;) he comes back to teach and it's is supposed that he is still in a wartime like mind frame. The AKB girl is another teacher (English teacher I think) that sees things differently as he does. And there is also his sister in law (I suppose the brother died in the war or something) so it is supposed to be something like a love triangle...

I hope I am wrong in my assumptions and we get at least a kiss... it's not too much to ask no? but knowing Sho's luck in romance in his previous dramas... *cough*

I actually hope to know more about it soon. I am kind of obsessed with this drama. I like to think that it was Sho's personal decision do to this drama... You know how he cares about studies, Japan history and reality... I don't know, and knowing he lost weight for this (hope Jun invites him to a banquet or something when the filming finishes) it looks to me like he has invested a lot effort on this -no that he didn't do it with his previous works- but it looks like something that really matters to him... like that docu drama about the Kobe earthquake... Don't really know if this makes sense :S

I liked that AKB girl in the last drama she starred in, although my favourite was the girl from gantz but i don't really see her pairing with Sho
(seriously he's too hot for her lmao! )
But then again I should stop being shallow and anticipate a relationship based on their intellect and their views on life and education

Oh, yes I saw the raw. I will probably take it since although I ordered the dvd le version, it will reach me way beyond Feb 24 (if Royal Mail doesn't decide to lose it *dies of worry!*)
