[livejournal.com profile] gomushroom posted this meme and as it looked like fun, I decided to give it a try:

1. Pick a character, pairing, or fandom you like.
2. Turn on your music player and put it on random/shuffle.
3. Write a drabble related to each song that plays. You only have the time frame of the song to finish the drabble; you start when the song starts, and stop when it’s over. No lingering afterwards! --> Actually I wrote inspired by the songs, but not thinking in what the lyrics said.
4. Do ten fifteen of these then post them.

I decided to use my iPod because my phone has only Arashi music and I wanted to give it a proper try with a real shuffle lol!

Well, the fandom is pretty obvious. There is also a lot of Jun and Sakumoto, but the other three are quite a bit, including one Yama.

1. INTO THE SUNSET (SMILE) - DEUTCHES SYMPHONIE-ORCHESTRA-ORCHESTER BERLIN - FROM CHARLES CHAPLIN'S MODERN TIMES OST

He watched the snow flakes falling and pulled his scarf a little closer to his mouth. The day had started pretty gray and went on that way, but the fact that it started snowing right at the beginning of the year, right when he had decided to walk back home, after almost a day of hard work plus the extra-celebrations afterwards, made him feel relieved, content.

Too many emotions during the night got him a little worn out but he didn't have any regrets. That was one good way to start a new year, wasn't it?

He kept walking. He had said he would take a taxi but he preferred digging his hands deep in his coat's pockets and walk.

A car stopped some meters ahead of him. When he passed by, the window went down and somebody with a very similar voice to Sho's said 'Come in, I'll take you home.'

2. WHAT IS LOVE? - DEEE LITE

He didn't know why he had agreed to Nino's idea of just forgetting about everything and trying out that great club with a reserved area for VIPs. What he really shouldn't have agreed to was the 'going incognito' thing. He loved crossdressing but he was Sakurai Sho, he was going to be found out the moment he approached somebody or went to the bar to get a drink.

Nino, also dressed as a woman, got hold of Sho's arm after both of them had left the coats at the cloakroom.

The big bar area was barely lit so Sho felt a bit relieved... The music playing quite loudly sounded like some electronic song from the 90s.

Sho was trying to figure out the name of the band it belonged to when he felt a pinch right in his bottom.

'Hey gorgeous!'

3. I GUESS THAT'S WHY THEY CALL IT THE BLUES - ELTON JOHN

Jun had just finished listening to the latest Fukushima FM radio show with Sho and Ohno and felt a pang of regret. He wondered if finishing his radio show had been a good idea. He missed it. Actually he missed it as much as he missed 'Sho Beat'. He would never mention it to Sho but he did. He listened to it every single day.

That was a show, just to be in awe of Sho's virtuosity. Every single time, right after it finished, he kept having Sho's voice stuck in his head for the rest of the day, accompanying him to whenever he decided/had to go.

Secretly and he wouldn't admit it openly, what he wanted was a radio show with Sho, both of them sharing good music and interesting chats. He knew they could talk about anything but they always refrained from doing so. The radio show would be the perfect excuse to just chat and share some time together without him trying really hard to find an excuse to do so.

He mused about the idea and how far from reality it was.

His phone rang.

'Jun, I was thinking... want a coffee? I'm close by...'

4. SHE'S ALL ON MY MIND - WET WET WET

A family? He really wanted one? Sho wondered as he was driven back home after his interview in Tokudane... Yes, he really wanted one. But every time he pictured the typical family photo, the person he saw standing next to him, right behind a couple of kids, wasn't who the general public or the fans would imagine.

Jun.

Sho was sure he was the perfect partner for life. At least he was the one Sho wanted. Instinctively he grabbed his phone and pushed number 1 for quick dialing.

'Yes?'

'I'm done.'

'Coming home?'

'I am probably not in the best mood...'

Silence. 'They asked what they always ask about lately, right? And gets you thinking...'

'Yeah.'

'Don't think and come home. Please?'

'Are you sure?'

'Positive.'

5. AI TO IU HIBI - NAKAMURA SHUNSUKE

'Fishing? Really? I may not be the best person to ask to go fishing with you, Leader?'

'Come on, Sho-kun! It will be fun! Besides I miss having a going out day with Arashi's leader-in-the-shadows... I'll cook for you whatever we catch!'

Two days later Ohno was already waiting for Sho in his new boat. Sho was already half an hour late.

Finally, he saw the newscaster's car approaching. Ohno descended the boat and went to the close-by parking lot to greet the man.

'Is something wrong? I thought you had decided not to come...'

'Oh no! I just wanted to be prepared,' Sho explained as he got out of the car and opened the trunk.

It was absolutely full with fishing equiment.

'Did you leave anything at the fishing shop?'

Sho poked this tongue out. 'I wanted it to be a perfect day'

'Yeah, but I don't want you to be penniless...'

6. PEACE! - SMAP

Jun looked around the dance practice room wondering if that was some kind of joke. A SMAP song? Were they going to dance and sing one of their senpais' songs for real? It was the first time and Jun really thought he wasn't worth the chance.

The dance instructor looked at them and clapped his hands. 'Are you ready?'

He looked at Nino and Aiba, the other two boys he actually knew from the group of juniors and noticed how they weren't either nodding or shaking their heads. He was relieved he wasn't the only one feeling apprehensive of getting close to something that was brighter than the sun.

SMAP was something they couldn't touch. It was too precious and too important for them, mere juniors. However, as the beginning of the song started playing he decided that one day he would be as brilliant and important as SMAP was now and that maybe some junior would think the same way towards him as he felt right in that moment about his senpais.

He nodded firmly once and started following the steps he was taught.

7. HIKARI NO MACHI - TOKIO

'We are better than Yamapi, Sho! Don't worry!'

Sho suspected Jun was not right in the head in that moment. Maybe he had allowed the younger man to drink too much in the latest bar they had stopped by.

Why he had agreed, he wondered: A trip along the route 66 as Yamapi was doing, just the two of them in a convertible from 1982, because come on, they didn't have time to celebrate Sho's 30th birthday way back in January, Jun complained. So what a better way to celebrate it properly than that one.

The thing was that Sho was afraid of heights, but also of being left out to die in the middle of the desert just because they hadn't stop in the latest gas station... Jun was in charge of driving and had assured him that they would have enough gas until the next town. However, for what Sho had seen, the fuel gauge was not working as good as his own head was, being both 30 years old.

Suddenly, Jun stopped the car, right in the middle of the road. 'Now I am giving you your present!' he announced triumphantly.

8. GOODNIGHT GOODNIGHT - MAROON 5

Jun was such a good kisser! That was something he couldn't deny. Everybody knew it. Everybody had seen Hanadan. He wondered why he had agreed with Aiba's plan to make a marathon of Hanadan just to forget that Jun was in Thailand filming some stupid show he couldn't care less about.

He wondered what would be to feel Jun's lips in his. He wondered if someday he would manage to be with Inoue Mao and drunk enough to ask her how it felt to be kissed by Jun as she had been -several times-.

He thought on how awful he felt whenever he realized that there were things that he wouldn't get the chance to try in his lifetime, no matter the reason: no aligned planets, no space-time coincidence or just because he was being a coward...

Aiba called his name loudly. Sho turned his head towards the younger man, who was holding his phone and pushing some of the keys. 'Mao-chan texted me. She says you can ask him to kiss you the way he kissed her,' he announced, flashing him with one of those wide grins of his.

9. THINKING ABOUT LIZZY - CARL DAVIS (BBC's PRIDE AND PREJUDICE OST)

The ballet recital was already halfway through and Jun looked at the empty space next to him and pouted. Sho had promised that he would be there. He knew that something must have come up for him not to keep his word, but it would be Jun's task to explain that to their daughter.

10. DANDY DARLIN' - SMAP

The door opened and closed instantly and the next thing he felt was somebody hugging him from behind, right before he was turned around, held from his leather jacket lapels and slammed against the lockers. I second later he was kissed as everybody should be kissed at least once in their lives.

He placed both his hands on the lockers' doors trying to find some support. He had almost no air left in his lungs.

Finally, Jun broke the kiss to mutter: 'You are so hot in leather. I am not buying you anything apart from leather from now on, you know...'

The smile spread on his lips disappeared again as Jun assaulted his mouth again.

He was fine with the idea of dressing just in leather but maybe his manager wouldn't like it...

11. TRIPPING - ROBBIE WILLIAMS

He should curse Nino and Aiba. Theirs was the wonderful idea of having a private party in a disco, party that poor Ohno had paid for. What Sho didn't know was that it was a rolling disco and that he would have to skate to actually get close to Jun, who looked like he had been born on skates.

He hated his life. He hated being so static, so stiff and so adventurous-spirit-lacking.

He always thought too much and today was no exception.

Jun had been in such a good mood as he skated around the place with British pop blasting through the speakers. He had offered to be his guide and teacher and Sho had agreed because, seriously, how could he deny anything to that gorgeous man?

However, Sho also had his moments of being reckless and, sadly, right there, in the rolling disco, he had decided to have one.

Now he was lying on a group of seats, placed next to one of the walls, staring at the lights dancing around the ceiling, with Ohno holding an icepad on his hurting ankle, while they waited for Jun to get a first aid kit and some bandages.

Suddenly he felt a kiss on his temple. 'I still like you very much' Jun said.

12. ON A NIGHT LIKE THIS - KYLIE MINOGUE

He wanted to be divine. Not just hot, not just gorgeous, someday he wanted to be the one everybody turned their heads to with gapping mouths thinking 'He is the most awesomely beautiful man I've ever seen.'

He kept thinking that whenever he looked himself into the mirror to find a new pimple in an unfortunate place, like right at the side of one nostril or right in the center of his chin... Like today.

He cursed under his breath as he opened the cream to fight that mortal enemy. Just then, Sho entered the bathroom and stood next to him, checking exactly the same but placed right on top of his nose, next to one of his brows.

'Damn it!' the older boy muttered. 'I wanted to look cool today!'

13. JIBUN NO TAME NI - TOKIO

He didn't know why he had agreed to meet with Ohno and Matsunii... He didn't have a close relationship with Tokio's drummer at all... But Aiba, nonetheless, said yes.

The three of them drove around Tokyo until they stopped by a not too flashy club. When they reached the front door, both Ohno and Matsunii showed the guy at the door a yellow, red and blue plastic card with some Kaibutsukun-like text on it and indicated that he, Aiba, was coming with them.

They entered the place and as he guessed, it was also completely decorated with Kaibutsukun-theme colors and paraphernalia.

Suddenly, somebody with really long hair, hugged Matsunii first and Ohno later. 'You brought him!' I am so happy!'

Next thing he felt was Becky's lips meeting his as she circled his waist.

14. AAJ MAUSAM BADA BEIMANN HAI (TODAY THE WEATHER PLAYS TRICKS ON ME) MOHAMMED RAFI - MONSOON WEDDING SOUNDTRACK

India.

That's the place he had always wanted to travel. From Noth to South and East to West. However, although he was doing just that, he didn't feel complete. Going alone, he thought, was the best choice... He could stop whenever he wanted for as long as he decided, but now solitude was an annoying companion.

The scenery in front of him was magnificent but he was sure it could look and feel even better if he was with a particular somebody next to him.

He opened his travel diary to check some notes he had taken while he was on the train and found a note written by Jun.

'Next time I am coming with you.'

15. I WANT IT ALL - QUEEN

The cheers, shouts, complains and harengas in Spanish that surrounded them didn't allow them to actually talk, but right in that moment it was not something they felt the need to do.

They were in the Cathedral of Football, the Santiago Bernabeu Stadium, watching a famous R. Madrid-Barça match. People paid fortunes to watch a match like that live, especially if they weren't from Spain as it was their case. Aiba wouldn't tell them how much he had paid for the tickets... and a part of them was thankful that the man didn't want to.

Aiba thought that was the best way for Sho and Jun to celebrate their first anniversary being together: A quick flight to Madrid to watch a soccer match.

It was good that he mentioned that both of them should wear the local team white t-shirt, because they were sure they would fit good enough with the blue and burgundy ones they had received from Nino as present to take with them to the occasion.
