He has the happy side Tom didn't have but is absolutely professional at the same time. His teasing with Ruth is really good.

This is exactly one of the things that I love best about Adam. Although I do think there are problems with his character as I mentioned below. I love that the same guy who sat with Carmen Joyce is also the same guy who jokes with Ruth. And the same guy who goes home to a wife and child.

Tom was always filled with so much angst and sometimes I thought it was even painful for him to smile! I adore Tom, so I can say this. :) His angst is partly why I love him so much.
