The Chronicles of Narnia icons
The sad news of John Spencer's sudden death, put end to a day,
yesterday, that it was really nice in the rest of things: I got the
present of a paid account, I received some of the things I bought
online, all together, what it is a bit of a Christmas present
situation, and I went to see The Chronicles of Narnia.
I really wanted to see the movie, for all I've read about it. I wasn't familiar with the books so for me, apart from what people have said about the story in their posts, I didn't know anything about the Narnia universe. The movie is just marvelous, really beautifully and carefully made. The cast is superb (all the boys, James McAvoy, Jim Broadbent and Tilda Swinton). The story has it all: adventure, drama, comedy, sweetness... I can't help it but my favorite thing in the movie is Lucy and Mr. Tumnus relation. It's so simple but so complex... the girl gave her hand for him to shake and in that moment she already touched Tumnus' heart. I think Georgie Henley and James McAvoy were splendig in those scenes together... so touching!!
Usually if I like something a lot, like this case, icons will come... and here they are. All Lucy and Mr. Tumnus *grin*
