Even after my negative thoughts about it, my RE and LE editions reached me a day before the release date! Thank you, whoever in charge of shipping them overseas!



Finally I managed to listen to the b-sides properly...



I don't want to write an essay about this so I'll try to be brief. These thoughts are based in only listening the songs. I haven't checked out the lyrics and/or translations yet.

迷宮ラブソング
I love the song. As a lot of people (Arashi among them) say I also think this is a very Arashi like song. I love the pace, I love the voices, the melody, everything. It is also catchy and it's one of those you can't get out of your head after listening to it a couple of times. The PV is too cute for words but being honest and although I love it, it's quite simple and the magic is that it has 5 hot boys being quite dorky and adorable, so for me does the trick! I think I mentioned before how it reminds me of those 'no money' games from Shukudai days...

消えぬ想い
It's the slowest song of all them and I find it quite lovely. I love their voices here. There is an especially lovely Sho singing solo part, that I heart already, followed by Jun... hmm, delicious. And the Ohno solo part is quite amazing!

Together, forever
It's the catchy-est of all the songs and I liked it instantly right after the first time I listened to it, I already loved it. The chorus being in English makes it easier to sing it although it is just the 'together forever'... but I enjoy listening to it, what can I say...

うたかた
*sigh* I have a problem with this song that makes it slightly annoying to me... and that is the little music at the beginning that repeats itself around the chorus... I can't stand it. It reminds me to some dramatic anime I watched when I was a kid. If that didn't exist I'm pretty sure I'd like this song, because it has an Aiba singing solo part that I love! and Sho's rap! However, another negative point is that I think Sho's rap ends too abruptly and it's too short!! WTH! I also get the feeling that at some points are some drastic changes of flow that kind of makes me think the song is a bit of a mess in those parts (around the chorus actually). But the melody is okay and the voices too... This song gets me a bit confused, honestly.
So, in short: I'd like this song a bit more if it didn't have that annoying start and the rap was longer.

Wanna Be
*sigh again* this one, I'm pretty sure I'll like this one more after some more listenings but the thing is that the start of this song, the guitar part, reminds me a lot of Maroon 5's Can't Stop. They aren't the same I know... but they are alike... Hmm, I think they are. Apart from that, it has a lovely Nino solo singing part and a great Sho singing solo part! Being honest, the song is okay and I'll end liking it... but well... I wonder why it has to remind me of that other song!

The booklet in the LE... well, honestly it's deliciously delicious! They look so hot it hurts (especially Jun, come on royalty!)!!! But as it seem I am in a bit of a bitc** mood, I find a reason to complain about it too: being it, the pairs.

The boys are featured two per page so let's play a game... the most obvious pairs in Arashi fandom are...?
Ohno-Nino (check), Aiba-Sho (check), Jun-Ohno (check) and the less obvious here are: Jun-Aiba (but if you think about it, they look pretty close lately, and I'm happy for that, although I don't really ship them), and Sho-Nino (yamataro couple, okay, I'll accept it for the old good times). But it bothers me a little that there is no sakumoto there (I guess you didn't figure out what my complain was, eh? *wink*)

Well that is all, actually.

I've been a week with no proper connection so I may have missed something. Does anybody know what is the 'user code' number at the back of the LE obi for?
