First of all, Happy New Year to all of you!!

Recently I've watched a movie called 'The Magic of Ordinary Days' (links here and here) starring Keri Russell and Skeet Ulrich. It's a Hallmark movie about a pregnant young woman whose father arranged a marriage for her. Her husband is a farmer who gives her everything and who only wants to make her happy. Everything happens during WWII.

I really enjoyed the movie and I recommend it, but I was also wondering if any of you would be able to recommend me some movies/tv shows/dramas with similar plot.

I mean this is what I'm looking for: a man loves a woman although he isn't loved in return (at the beginning) and does everything in his power to make her happy/keep her safe, etc... of course things have to change and she has to realize how blind she's been and all that...

One of my favorite romantic novels is Jude Deveraux's The Tempest. I don't know if you have read it or knows anything about it, so I'll tell you the plot so you get a better idea of what I'm looking for:

Two families hold a grudge for ages. In one of the families instead of all sons, a daughter was born and they kept it a secret so the other family don't take advantage of it, so she is dressed and all as a boy. Several things happen and she ends marrying one of the sons of the enemy family. A son that was living in other countries so knows nothing about all those fights and violence between the families. She as has been raised learning to hate the other family wants nothing to do with him and at some point he's tortured by her brothers... During all the time they spent together he's been in love with her and trying with all his will to get her to at least give him a chance... He tries to show his love for her in everything he does for her... trying to make her understand.

The same happens with the famer from the movie (Skeet Ulrich is great as Ray, btw). You can see his face of disappointment and how hurt he is in several moments during the film and you just want to hold him.

So, if you could think of a movie/tv show/asian drama... with a main male character like that and plot with similarities to what I've mentioned you'll make me really happy and I'll thank you forever!! ;)
