About what I've been doing lately... (nothing important in this post, really)

More than a week without a post *sigh* I won't write excuses because I guess you know the deal... anyway...

Some things I want to mention...

First of all, I know [livejournal.com profile] koalathebear's B-day is this month, can't remember the day, but I'm pretty sure it has a 9, or maybe not, well... I'm a disaster if I don't write down the date so, lady, Happy Birthday!!! (even if I'm late, I hope you have a great time!)

I watched the latest Ugly Betty episode 1x20 The Petra Gate. Before watching it I was a bit worried because after episode 19, and as close as the season finale is, I thought they were trying to stop things from happening, or just that things weren't going to be interesting until the last episode, but I was wrong! And I'm so happy I was! I really enjoyed the episode. The main reason is because we see Betty has a flaw... she isn't very good forgiving and that is something that makes her hard to deal with when she's got crossed. It was interesting to see how she deals with everything and forgives Christina and Daniel... I really love when Betty and Daniel have those moments that really are 'their' special moments. I value their friendships very much. I'm not a Daniel/Betty shipper (although I don't have a problem accepting the option) because for me is Henry/Betty. It was great to see Henry again (missed him in the previous episode). The whole Daniel/Henry/Betty situation was great!

I'm also like very much the new Amanda storyline with the designer. Amanda is so funny. There is only another thing I like more than that and that is Marc/Amanda moments.

I'm happy Hilda and Santos are together again, it's a good thing, I think :S And... I just knew the first moment the creative director of Mode Brazil approached Alexis that he wasn't good for her, and well, I was right ;)

Anyway, I can't wait for next episode, but I so think that there will be an awful cliffhanger that will be unbearable (not that much, really) that nothing new will happen until next season... *sob*

I got a couple of books that are pretty interesting. I should really stop getting books and starting reading them and later on kind of forget about them. I don't really know if it's because they aren't interesting enough... I think is not that, but well, the doubt is still there. I'm pretty sure it's because I just don't have the time.

One of the books is Teri Hatcher's Burnt toast: An other philosophies of life, that I picked just out of curiosity because I read something at the IMDb's board about Jon Tenney about she being unfair to him in some comments she made. It's just that I want to read it for myself, since people tend to be a bit judgemental without having all the facts. Besides, I've always thought Jon Tenney must be a nice person (thanks to [livejournal.com profile] catdecember I know is quite true ;) Thanks!).

I had to make an hiatus in my Brooklyn South mini marathon, but I reached the point where Jon Tenney's character and Yancy Butler's are already sleeping together...

Also started watching a Bit of Fry and Laurie series 1 and loved it.

This week I took baby ginger to the swimming pool for a special swimming for babies course that I couldn't take him to until he became 6 months old. He loves it and I have as so much fun as he has because I love watching him enjoying new things and discovering all the things we adults take for granted. It's simply amazing!

I received some beautiful Japanese fabrics and Japanese craft books that gave me a lot of ideas. I'm really looking forward to making some of them.
