I started watching Silent Witness for the same reason. I couldn't stand the earlier seasons because I find Amanda Burton annoying but once Emilia Fox joined and they started giving Tom Ward more screen time, I was hooked.

The Inspector Lynley Mysteries I'm not so taken with. I find the pacing a bit slow. I did enjoy the episode where his younger brother shows up though - but that was mainly because said younger brother was played by Matthew Goode and I find him very easy on the eyes ;-)

Danny Blue as Dracula? How...interesting. I would never have pictured it. I'll look out for it though because while I like Marc Warren, I LOVE David Suchet.
