Depending of what you like to see. This one isn't exactly like Pride and Prejudice or North and South because the story is placed in 1600. It has a kind of Braveheart flavour but it isn't exactly that either. I like the characters, I like the actors playing them and the story. It's a romantic story mainly. If you like that, you will like it. Maybe the plot is a bit obvious but I enjoyed it anyway. Richard is really good. He surprised me because Coupling is my favorite sitcom and Jeff is the god of stupidity in an adorable kind of way and a total expert in putting his foot on his mouth most of the times! Love most of his quotes, love him in Coupling, period! So I was afraid I wasn't going to like him playing a serious part, but I do, I really like him here (well and in Strange, another series I talked about some posts ago). Don't know if I have helped you... I will feel awful if you spend the money and later on you don't like it at all :S
I really wanted the drama (because they only sell it in USA) but was quite expensive so I waited until the last sales in Corte Inglés and got it in their 3x2 offer ;) maybe you can wait til the December ones (just an idea, I am going to get Scrubs, among others, at that time as well).
