I really think you should write a book, or write your memories of that time in a blog or something. I think they would be shared. I encourage you to do so ;) A lot of people who fought at the war and were in Their twenties or older at that time are already gone and i think your vision of a kid/adolescent during that time could offer something different from others WWII stories/books.
I confess I have tons of questions: Did you still manage to go to school? Life was kept as normal as possible under those circunstances? Did people fear the Germans reached the English Coast as I've seen in a UK telly show called Foyle's War? What did people think was going to happen when war started? What did you think? How 'fresh'(recent) were the news you got via radio/newspapers? I imagine a time did come that not all food was available, what did you miss the most? What did you want to do/be at that time if you had been older?
